Break Yo Chest (STAR)

"Star you need to get to the hospital right now."

"Star you need to get to the hospital right now. Its Simone." 

"I'm on my way. What happened?" I heard her say as I sat in the waiting room. 

"Uh she passed out at church. And now we don't know what happened, but the doctors think she ODed." I explain as my leg bounced up and down in the uncomfortable hospital chair. "Give me five minutes." Star said and I hung up.  Honestly that little girl has been like a little sister to me. I didn't want her to die, she had so much to live for. I knew she smoked, and drank, but I had no idea she did drugs. 

I honestly was praying to God, hoping that little girl wakes up. "Come on Simone wake up." I said as I watched as they did a round of Difibulations on her chest. I noticed Miss. Bruce and Danielle showed up, as did Cotton. Cotton sat next to me and hugged me. "You good Nat" She asked me. I slowly shook my head. I was honestly scared as hell. "I was right next to her and didn't even notice, Cot, I mean I was there and I could have done something, Star is gonna kill me." I mumbled. "Nat don't go blaming yourself for shit you can't control." 

A doctor walked over to us. Please don't let her have died. "Are you the mother?" She asked Carlotta. "Yes I am." Carlotta answer. I looked at her confused, but I didn't say anything. "She was in Cardiac arrest, but we successfully recessitated her." The doctor told us. Yes! "Any idea of where she got a hold of those drugs?" The doctor asked. "No I have no idea but I will find out." Carlotta said. "When can we see her?" I asked the doctor. "The next 24 hours will be crittical so we're admitting her in the hospital for further observation. The nurse will let you know when you can see her." She told us and walked off. "Miss Bruce if you ever bring that garbage in my house again we are done." Carlotta told her. 

Star ran in the hospital screaming. "I need to see my sister!" "Where the hell is she. Her name is Simone and she's 16!" I walked over to her. "Star she gonna be okay." I tell her. I look over at Alex. "Why ya'll look like just came from the club?" I ask them. "We got news from BIG Boi saying we could do studio time for our demo, when I got yo call Nat." Star said. "Star i'm so sorry, I should have watched her or something." I say hugging her. "Also Alex i'm sorry for dragging you down in this too." I tell her. She nodded and smiled sadly. Nattie was slowly growing on Alex but she would never actually tell her Latina ass that to her face. "Ya'll its gonna be okay." I said as the nurse came and said one of us could see Simone. So Star went in the room leaving us all relieved from the stressful night that we all just went through.
