“Let’s Go for a walk guys!”
Dominic’s POV
“No” Avery seemed shook, though he couldn’t seem to wipe the smile off his face.
“Yes” I said unenthusiastically.
“No” I could tell he found this amusing.
“Yes” I said again, ready for this day to be over.
“That is hilarious” He said chugging down some orange juice. Sometimes Avery could be so oblivious, here I was pissed as hell and he found it as entertaining and dramatic as Days of Our Lives.
“Is it?” I was getting irritated, I’m glad he found this amusing, cause I sure didn't.
“YES” He said pointing at me with a smile.
“Really? Cause if you haven’t noticed I’m actually quite pissed off.” I curled my hands in fists, what was it that was making me so mad?
“Okay, okay. Sorry Bro” He held up his hands in defeat.
“What’s wrong why you look so upset?” Luke asked as he walked in smoothing back his bed hair. I would love their life, walking up odd hours of the afternoon, chilling all day and going out all night.
“The girl from the club” Avery said, talking a sip of his juice.
“The one who thought you were a total jackass” Luke asked looking at me sympatheticly, he knew I had been embarassed by this chick.
“Yea, She’s T.Robinson and she’s the hot girl next door” Avery answered once again, I turned to look at him sitting atop the kitchen counter, I shot him an annoyed stare. He gave me a look saying he was sorry.
“What?” Luke said, trying to hold back his laughter.
“Yuup!” Avery said as he came off the counter, obviously he was still amused.
“Ugh, I don’t want to think about this anymore, I’m going for a run” I got up from the island by the kitchen and made my way upstairs. I just wanted to forget about this day, I went into my closet and found a pair of jogging clothes, I put them on along with my iPod exercise band, I put the music in my ears, jogging down stairs. I went out the door not even bothering to tell them I was coming back, I was too pissed todays. This was just not my day.
Tamryn’s POV
I never realized how nice a neighbourhood this was, so quiet and the sun was so warm here. I could wear shorts all day. It reminded me of the sun in Jamaica, when my dad would take me to the park. I began to shake the memory, it was neither the time nor place to think of such things, and all it would do was bring futher sadness and misery to this day.
I decided it was time for a turn around so I took out my phone and dialed a familiar number. It rang twice before it picked up.
“Hello?” She sounded confused.
“Simba?” I said, smiling at her voice.
“Tic Tac!” I smiled even wider. She began screaming through the phone and I more than reciprocated. I swore in that moment some birds flew out of the tree.
“How’d you know it was me?” I asked, she always did that. Everyone always knew when I called, it was kind of annoying, it didn’t bother me today though, I was just happy to hear her voice.
“Your accent” She said, trying not to laugh.
“Come on Simba, we’re sisters and you don’t have an accent” I said in a shrieked voice.
