It is the world's second-largest religion and the fastest-growing major religion in the world, with over 1.8 billion followers or 24.1% of the global population, who are known as Muslims. Muslims make up a majority of the population in 49 countries. Islam teaches that God is merciful, all-powerful, unique, and has guided mankind through prophets, revealed scriptures and natural signs. The primary scriptures of Islam are the Quran, viewed by Muslims as the verbatim word of God, and the teachings and normative example (called the sunnah, composed of accounts called hadith) of Muhammad
We believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed many times before through prophets including Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. As for the Quran, Muslims consider it to be the unaltered and final revelation of Godl. Like other Abrahamic religions, Islam also teaches a final judgment with the righteous rewarded paradise and unrighteous punished in hell. Religious concepts and practices include the Five Pillars of Islam, which are obligatory acts of worship, and following Islamic law, which touches on virtually every aspect of life and society, from banking and welfare to women and the environment. The cities of Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem are home to the three holiest sites in Islam. The five pillars of Islam metaphorically hold up the religion they are (in order):

[S.W.T] Subhaanahuu Wa Ta’ala – [Glorified and Exalted is ALLAH]: This phrase appears after the Name of ALLAH [S.W.T] its seen as an act of reverence and devotion towards ALLAH [S.W.T].
[S.A.W.S] Salla’Allahuu Alayhi Wa-Sallaam – [[May ALLAH Bless Him and grant Him Peace] [S.A.W.] or [P.B.U.H.] or [S.]]: The expression should be used after stating Prophet Muhammad [S.A.W.S]’s name.
(A.S) ‘Alayhis-Salaam – [[Peace be upon Him] (P.B.U.H), [Peace be upon Them] (P.B.U.T)]: This expression should be used after stating the names of the noble Angels (e.g. Jibraeel, Mikaeel and so on) or Prophets who came before Hadrat Muhammad [S.A.W.S].
(R.A) Raadiya’Allahu anhu – [May ALLAH be pleased with him]: When mentioning Sahaba [the Companions (R.A)] of Hadrat Muhammad [S.A.W.S.], Raadiya’Allahu anhu (for males/him) and Radiy’Allahu aanha (for females/her) Radiy’Allahu anhuuma (for them) are used.]
