Chapter 29

Emilio's POV

As soon as we walked in the house, Aria ran upstairs and ignored everyone.

Ivan:Bro, what's wrong with Aria? And what happened to you?
Emilio:I may have got into a fight with this guy who kept staring at Aria
Ivan:So why is she upset?
Emilio:Because she told me to let it go but I didn't
Jake:Bro, you've messed up
Emilio:I know
Tessa:I think you should just let her cool off for a while before you go up and talk to her
Emilio:Okay

I then went up to my room and got changed into something more comfortable and went back downstairs in the kitchen.

Aria's POV

As soon as I ran upstairs, I got changed into some Jake Paul joggers and a Chanthony T-shirt. I took off all my makeup and put my hair in a high ponytail. I then made sure that no one was around and grabbed my guitar from under my bed. No one knows that I can play guitar and it will hopefully stay like that. I then sat on my bed and started singing The Climb by Miley Cyrus. Every time I'm upset I always sing that song and it helps me feel a bit better.

(Pretend that's Aria and she's playing the guitar)

Once I had finished, I started to feel a little bit better. However, I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek, that song always made me cry a bit. I then decided to sing another song.

Tessa's POV

I was going upstairs to check on Aria when I heard someone singing Miley Cyrus. It was so beautiful, I then realized that it was coming from Aria's room. I slowly walked towards her room to make sure she couldn't hear me. I could also hear her playing the guitar. She never told any of us that she could sing or play guitar.

I quietly went back downstairs into the kitchen.

Tessa:Guys, come with me
Jake:Everyone?
Tessa:Yeah
Chance:Where are we going?
Tessa:Upstairs, you'll see why in a sec
Chance:Okay

We all then walked upstairs.

Tessa:Shh, listen

Everyone then went quiet and we could hear Aria now singing Niall Horan.

Tessa:Can you hear it?
Ivan:Yeah, it's so beautiful
Tessa:It's Aria
Emilio:What? She never told me that she could sing or play an instrument
Tessa:I know, that's what I thought

She then stopped singing and we all clapped from outside her door.

Aria's POV

Once I had finished singing Slow Hands I hear clapping coming from out my room. I put my guitar down and opened my bedroom door. Everyone was then looking at me.

Jake:How come you never told us you could sing?
Tessa:You were amazing
Nick:That was beautiful
Ivan:Hey, I was gonna say that
Erika:Can you sing something else
Chance:More
Anthony:You should start a YouTube channel where you're singing

Everyone was giving me complements except for Emilio. He was just looking at me and then made eye contact with him and he seemed really upset. Also, his black eye seemed to have gotten worse.

Aria:Thanks guys, but can I talk to Emilio please
Jake:Sure, come on guys let's go back down

Everyone except Emilio then started to go down the stairs. We were just looking at each other until I grabbed him hand and brought him in my room. We both then sat on my bed.

Emilio:You wanted me
Aria:Yeah, I wanted to talk about what happened before
Emilio:Oh
Aria:And I also wanna help you with your eye
Emilio:Why?
Aria:Coz it's gotten worse

I took the small mirror off of my bed side table and gave it to Emilio.

Emilio:Wow, I didn't think it was that bad
Aria:I know right
Emilio:So about before, I'm sorry I just got really mad that the guy was staring at you
Aria:I understand that but the thing that annoys me is that I told you to let it go and you ignored me

Emilio then took ahold of my hands and rubbed his thumbs over my knuckles.

Emilio:I know, I'm really sorry. I regret everything about that fight.
Aria:I know you do
Emilio:So does that mean I'm forgiven
Aria:Maybe
Emilio:What?
Aria:How about, tomorrow night you and I just stay in my room and watch Disney films. Then in the morning I will tell you if I've forgiven you
Emilio:Deal

We then smiled at each other and hugged. We stayed like that for about 2 minutes until I pulled away.

Aria:Let's sort out your eye
Emilio:Okay

I then got off my bed and went into my bathroom. I came out with a cloth.

Emilio:What's that for?
Aria:To put some ice in
Emilio:Oh

We then walked downstairs and went into the kitchen. Emilio then sat down and I went to the freezer. I put some ice in my cloth and wrapped the ice. I gently put the ice on Emilio's eye.

Aria:Does that feel better?
Emilio:Much, thank you
Aria:No problem

Chance then walked into the kitchen.

Chance:So have you two made up yet?
Aria:Maybe, I'm gonna tell him in 2 days
Chance:Okay then, you guys are weird
Emilio:Thank you
Chance:By the way Aria
Aria:Yeah
Chance:I like your T-shirt
