With silence accompanying me I slowly crept towards him. I leaned forward as I reached his eyes from behind and covered it with both hands.

"Holy shit!" His reaction made me chuckled but I have my hand still covering his eyes. It was a good thing he was seated on the sofa with his back facing me.

"Don't stare way too much Nate or Race will have goosebumps."

"Ha. Funny." I removed my hand and rested my chin on top of his head as I held on to the sofa with both hands.

"Why don't you court her?"

"That's suicide."

"At least you tried instead of sulking in here." I saw him about to drink his beer so I took it from his left hand and sipped some.

"That's mine Dani. Get your own can of beer." He turned around and looked at me with his poker face but I just smiled and thanked him for the drink. After handling the beer back I saw him sigh. Well, nothing can be done with that so I went to sit beside him.

Silence is as comforting as a friend hugging you... sometimes. Depending on the situation. Which is why I decided not to pry onto him so much and just kept him company. I had my headset plugged into my earholes and let my iTouch play a song. The sun's rays really set an ambiance in our room. I closed my eyes to relax. Removing all the uneasiness inside of me as Paramore's Still Into You played in the background. I breathed in and out, calming everything down. But then he removed my headset. I opened my left eye only to find him staring so close at my face, inches apart. I sighed.

"What?" I muttered. I suddenly felt his hand crawl its way to my left thigh. His hand received a slap and I glared at him but he just chuckled.

"Don't you want to swim?"

"Don't you want to swim my ass."

"With this." My eyes grew bigger when I saw him holding my swimwear. He must have gotten it on top of my bed where I left it hours ago.

"NATHANIEL!" I reached and grabbed for it instantly but he stood up and placed it on my lap.

"I'm sick and tired of babysitting. Ikaw naman."

"Fine. I get it." I pushed him away with a soft kick on his legs. Decided that moment to put my iTouch in my bag that was lying on the floor beside the bed where Race was sleeping. I might as well finish what I'm supposed to finish.

"You know Dani."

"What?" I turned to look at him who was looking down at me with his hands placed on his waist.

"The data that I gave you, just hit send and it will be done. Why are you prolonging everything? Are you having second thoughts? Not that I care though but it would hurt my pride if you won't do it. I worked hard to finish that job you insist on telling me to do for the past 6 months." I walked closer to him and looked straight into his eyes.

"I'm not having second thoughts. I just need to find the perfect time to do it. And I also want to make sure everything's in order." He pulled my face closer to his which made me grew my eyes out of shock. I almost let go of what I was holding but he just smiled and planted a soft kiss my forehead.

"Payback. I'll go for an indoor swim. Don't wanna get the sun burning my skin. Race is sleeping soundly anyway." I looked at him and he looked back at me. I ended up nodding to his statement and we both headed out of the room.

After more than an hour of roaming around to places, I found Race seated in a cafe near our hotel. She must have felt bored and hungry waking up with no one around. I sat beside her after she saw me enter the cafe. I placed my bag down and took my laptop out to search for the file that Nate gave to me. I read it again from the top wondering how he really did it.

"Ate, ginagawa mo?" I looked at her and just smiled.

"Revenge."

"Aww hard. Drama. Wattpad!"

"Haha nah, tigil mo yan."

"Why?"

"Totoo kasi 'to."

"Really? Halata nga."

"Who taught you how to swim?" With my eyes back on my laptop, I asked her as I continued with what I have been doing.

"Di naman ako marunong lumangoy eh."

"So anong ginagawa mo?"

"Nakaupo lang sa hagdan ng pool." I chuckled at the thought and turned my laptop off after scanning the files.

"I'll teach you and then after the lesson, we'll go for a ride to town."

"Bakit?"

"Baka lang may gusto kayong bilhin."

"Yes please!"

"I know." I nodded at her excitement so we ended up going back to our room after she finished with her drink in the cafe. Prepped up ourselves for a swim and headed to the pool.

"Bakit ganiyan suot mo, Dani?" We both looked up to see the person standing beside the pool looking down at us.

"Ate?" Race looked at me with confusion in her eyes. I told her that we should get out of the pool. We walked past through him but he unexpectedly held my right hand so I ended up stopping halfway before I can even reach the place where I left my bag and towel.

"Here." A green towel was placed over my shoulders. My towel. I looked at Race who was already seated on the chair and drying herself up. I turned around to look at him.

"Dale." I sighed. A deep one.

"Dani?" Our eyes automatically looked in the direction where the voice came from and saw Nate standing a few feet away from us.

"Wow ate Dani, daming lalaki." If I could shoot daggers right now at her mouth. But she just waved a peace sign to me.

"Dale, right?" Nate walked towards us and gave Dale a handshake.

"And you are?" Dale turned his look on to me while shaking Nate's hand.

"He's Nate. A friend of mine. So is Race right there. I know you know her already. So, yeah." My head tilted to where Race was who is looking back at us with a smile on her face.

"Anyway, we'll be heading to town in just a bit. Why don't you join us?" Dale hesitated for a moment but ended up saying yes. I don't get it though. He looked a little bit uneasy with Nate around and so does Nate. What's up with them?

We arrived in town at around 1:45 pm and it sure is hot. It's a good thing we're all wearing light clothes so we can still roam around without sweating way too much because of the weather. We can still be comfortable while walking down the streets and looking at souvenir shops.

I felt Race wrap her arms around my right arm. I looked at her and heard her giggling. Weirdo. I turned my head a bit to look at the two guys following us at our back. Wow. They are not talking to each other which really gives a very awkward situation.

"Look ate! Tara dun." She then pulled me to enter one of the souvenir shops and I heard hissing behind us.

"So ate... Sino sa kanilang dalawa?"

"WHAT?!" I unexpectedly reacted yanking her arm and accidentally bumping my head at one of the large posts of the shop. Ugh! It hurts. As I press the bumped spot on my head for a bit, I heard her chuckle and giggle at the same time.

"DANI!" The shouts came from the two men as we saw them hurriedly got closer to me. I looked at Race and I already knew this midget of a kiddo's planning something for me today.
