I walked down the aisle of the supermarket following my mum, with my face in my phone texting Harry. I should have paid attention to where I was going because I ran into a rather handsome fellow. “Oh I’m so sorry.” I said as I bent down to help him pick up his things.

“It’s alright,” he said sweetly, “I’m Chad.”

“Natalie,” I said shaking his hand.

“Well, Natalie I’m a little hurt by this.”

“Oh I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you. Is there anything I can do?” I asked as concern flooded my features.

“A date maybe?” he smirked but still sounded hopeful.

I giggled, “Oh! We are dealing with a bruised ego I see.”

He chuckled, “Just a little,” he faux pouted. “So is that a yes?”

“Yea,” I said nodding with a smile. “I think that can be arranged.”

“Great, well I’ll give you my number and you can let me know when you are free or something?”

“Yeah sure, here I’ll give you mine too,” I said giving him my phone so he could enter his number and punched mine into his.

“Well it was great meeting you.”

“Yea likewise,” I said as I smiled. “I’ll see you.”

“Soon,” he smiled back as I ran to catch up with my mum.

“What was that about?” she asked with her eyebrows raised.

“We are going to arrange a date,” I said blushing at her inquiry.

“What happened to Harry?”

“Mum like I’ve said before, Harry and I are just friends.”

She just raised her eyebrows in disbelief as we checked out and headed home.
