I'm Different

Chapter 05

My eyes watered as I ran to them engulfing them in a hug as I let the tears spill. " oh thank you thank you thank you. How did you know it was my birthday?", I thanked and questioned at the same time.

They laughed and mom replied with, " sweetie we fostered you of course we know when your birthday is and you deserve to celebrate it properly"

"So Hun lets have some dinner then we can have cake and you can open your presents how does that sound?", dad asked.

"That sounds amazing dad", I said completely overjoyed.

We laughed as we ate and told each other of our hilarious moments and best memories.

Not long after dinner we dig into the, surprisingly, delicious cake. Underneath the icing it was a chocolate and vanilla marble cake and the icing they topped it with was a spectacular lemon buttercream. I'm not talking about those horrible buttercreams with lemon zest in it (for those who don't know lemon zest it lemon skin peelings) it was one of those buttercreams with lemon juice in it.

After relishing in the amazing taste of the cake, my parents gave me the two gifts they got me.

As I opened the first one I was stunned into silence at the sheer beauty of the necklaces they got me. They got me a three set of crystal necklaces, I can't even begin to imagine how much these cost them.

As I opened my second gift I was happy to see they got me two keychains and two phone cases. I loved the cases because they were beautiful and the keychains were perfect because they were of my favourite thing ever. OREOS.

After thanking my parents I headed upstairs to shower.

I had a quick shower and hair wash along with shaving before jumping out, drying and selecting a pair of sleepwear and slipper booties.

Once changed I sat down on my bed and decided to read Wattpad. Halfway trough reading the third chapter of my current favourite new book, I started to get thirsty and decided to get some water before finishing my chapter.

I walked down the stairs slowly trying not to make noise since my parents ate probably sleeping. I slip into the kitchen and grab a water bottle from the fridge before stealthily jogging up the stairs.

I sat back down removed my booties and snuggled under the covers before continuing my chapter and drinking my water.

I finish the chapter in twenty minutes and just as I was about to put my phone down it pinged and I decided to check it before sleeping.

U have to watch this it's hilarious I laughed for ten minutes

As I waited for it to load I decided to sip some of my water but as I was about to swallow it the video started and i laughed so hard that it sprayed everywhere and I started chocking.

I managed to sort myself out five minutes after the video finished but didn't stop laughing until ten minutes after that.

Finally I put my phone down and turned off my lamp before settling down into my bed and drifting off into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.

Okay so what do you think I decided we would use this chapter to focus more on her life in general.

And WOW she found her mate in Cole, but you probably expected that.

What do you think of her bestie Lois?? I added her to the story since my actual best friend is called Lois and she is a lot like my character.

Okay so be honest who also laughed for fifteen minutes after watching that video. I just had to share it with you since my friend (Lois) had sent it to me. So yeah.

I hope you guys like this one I know I didn't unveil anything major about her and there wasn't much drama but I wanted to build up into that since it wouldn't make sense them being mates but no one acknowledging it's her birthday. Even though she didn't share that news.

So I really hope you liked it and once again let me know what you think and constructive criticism is always welcome.
