i don't regret anything

Caroline POV
I'm sitting on my bed in my room with baby Eric laying next to me on his belly playing with his toys. I smile at him, he's my everything and I love him so much with all my heart. It's all thanks to Alexa that I had him, she knew how much I always wanted to have children of my own. Don't get me wrong I love Lizzie and Josie but before becoming a vampire I always wanted to have children of my own with my DNA.

Alexa and I are at her lake house that she has, she brought it a fews ago before she became human. She said she got it because she wanted to live the rest of her life here until she dies but she let Jackson live there until he died fourteen years ago. After that she never went back until just two days before her wedding. We were sitting by the docks drinking coffee talking

"Seventeen years we really did accomplish our goals didn't we?" I said and smile

She smiles "Yeah, we got the careers we wanted" she said

"Yeah, you know even though Lizzie and Josie aren't my real kids, I love them so much. I do anything for them, I would die for them. I never thought I was ever going to be a mom after becoming a vampire having children of my own. But when Lizzie and Josie were born I was happy and felt that I was given a chance to be a mother and I was happy to take it" she said

"Your an amazing mom to them, Caroline. I know your mom is very proud of you. Proud of the woman you become" she said and smiles "I want to give you a gift, close your eyes" she said

"What? Why?" I asked confused

"Just close your eyes" she said

I sigh and close my eyes and I feel her hand on my forehead while she says something in what sounds like Latin and a gush of wind blows through the air. Suddenly she stops talking Latin and takes her hand off my forehead "Open your eyes"  she said

I open my eyes and look at her confused "What did you do?" I asked

She smiles "I gave you a gift, I did a fertility spell on you, giving you the ability to have children. Children of your own" she said

I'm shocked by this and she smiles "Oh my god. What? You can do that?" I asked

"My dad created a fertility spell for Katherine to be pregnant with me. I used that same spell and now you can have children. Look Care I would never lie to you, you know that. I know how much you been wanting children of your own. I hope one day you can find a guy to love and have children with him" she said and smiles

Tears form in my eyes and I hug "Thank you so much, Alexa. Thank you" I said

"Your welcome, anything for my best friend" she said

We pull away from the hug and take a sip of ours coffee

"I think I already the guy you will have children with" she said and smiles

I look at her confused "Who?" I asked

She smiles big "Klaus" she said

I become shocked at what she said "Klaus?! What?! What are you talking about?!" I asked shocked and confused but at the same time pretending to not know what she's talking about
