FAWN

We walked out of the lobby and into the busy streets, Trent's hand still around mine securely. I look up at him as we made our way past shops, buildings, and other people.

"So... where are you taking me," I asked him, trying to get an idea of our destination.

"Well, I think I'm allowed to keep it secret for a bit," he glanced at me with a slight smile, "I am paying for everything."

Ba-dump!

"Stop it! He's just very attractive...

It's not that serious."

I looked away from him, a small smile sneaking its way onto my face. I needed to chill, because this guy was starting to make me blush.

"Hey, Trent."

"What?"

"Where are we going?"

He laughed, shaking his head, "it is a surprise."

"...I'll give you a dollar."

"Fawn," he scolded, trying to hide his emerging grin.

******

After walking around for about fifteen minutes, I got very tired of waiting to see what was happening. I didn't look this nice to just walk all day.

Well, I didn't necessarily have a reason as to why I looked this nice, but that is so far beyond the point.

I was bored.

"What do you plan to do with me?" I asked Trent.

He looked down at me, smirking.

"You really want to know?"

I gasped, punching him in the arm, "that is not what I meant! Where are we going? I'm bored!"

He rolled his eyes and kept walking. As he started rubbing his chin with his fingers, I could tell he knew as much as I did.

"We're going to eat," he announced.

I furrowed my brows, "eat? For the whole day?"

"No," he started, "but we'll just go with the flow."

I was about to say something smart when I noticed a Japanese bakery ahead.

"Let's go there, I'm craving some Bubble tea."

I pulled Trent with me to the small shop, and I heard him mutter, "what's bubble tea?"

Does he even know me?

"Hello," a petite girl who seemed to be about twenty greeted us with a big smile.

"Hi," I smiled back, then scanned the menu above her.

Hmm... The choice between Taro, Lychee and Mango is always a tough one...

"He'll have a large mango slush with boba, and I'll have a large lychee slush with boba. We're together."

She smiled, punching buttons on the register.

"That'll be $10.71."

"Cough it up, money man," I whispered to Trent, with a smirk of my own.

He smiled, pulling out his wallet and handing her a twenty. He used a little extra charm when he told her to "keep the change."

She blushed, thanking us, then went to make the drinks.
