Shade awoke slowly, her eyes flittering a little before fully opening. 'Where am I...?' She thought, looking around.
The floor was cracked concrete, hard, and cold and looked like it'd been abandoned for awhile now. The walls were no different, as was the ceiling. The windows were broken but at least 35 feet above. There was no way she was reaching that.
There was only two working lights working, wherever she was. By the looks of it, an old sealed off shelter. It was huge, dark, and freezing. The only sounds to be heard were the continuous dripping of water onto the concrete.
Shade shivered and continued looking at the place. She seemed to be in the exact middle of the place, and directly in front of her was a huge metal door, with multiple locks. It was rather rusted and had a tiny window to peek out of, but Shade wasn't able to see, seeing as she was too far away.
Deciding she'd seen enough of this creepy place, got up. Well... Tried, actually. Shade looked down. Around her throat ankle was a cuff, chained down to the ground.
'What the fuck..?' She thought and tugged at the bindings, as hard as she could. Nothing. Shade started to shiver at the cold and started to panic. She looked around for anything that could be of use. An old dark blue crowbar lay on the ground, just a few feet away. Shade walked to it, but was soon stopped. 'Fuck. This. God. Damned. Chain!!' She mentally yelled but signed on the outside.
Another thought soon occurred. Shade immediately got on her knees and did her best to reach it. She managed, grabbing the tip of it and instantly pulled it closer.
Shade but the hooked part of the crowbar into the little loop in the ground that held the chain. She hurriedly tried to brake it, with all of her strength.
"Well well well... Look whose awake and kicking." Said a males voice from behind. Shade immediately dropped the crowbar and spun around to face whoever it was. His face was hidden but his voice seemed so familiar...
"Who are you? Where the hell am I?" Shade shot questions at the man.
"You don't remember? Tsk tsk tsk... What a shame, cause I clearly remember you." The mystery man stepped into the lights gaze.
"W-William..?"
"That's right little sister."
