Welcome, welcome,
To my book of poems,
I have things to tell, so please come,
As of right now, it's all skin and bones.
I love to write,
But it's all dark and lonely,
It's quite a morbid sight,
A little sad, a little homely.
But, not to fear—
I write these to destress,
So wipe that tear—
Please don't make a mess.
Yes, I made all of these,
From my mind and thoughts,
All emotions are released—
But not to be stolen or caught.
This is copyright,
And I don't share what's mine,
So take my words and I will fight,
And yes, I do love to rhyme.
So, here's my intro,
I hoped you liked it,
It's weird and quirky though,
But it's fun and brimming with wit.
