Chapter 6

HARRY’S POV

As she turned her head I saw the surprised look in her face.

“Umm, sorry” she stuttered. She was so cute. I chuckled as her cheeks turned bright red. She looked so awkward and embarrassed before she looked up at me with wide eyes, begging to be helped

“Oh!” I decided to break the ice “Guys this is Sophie” I beamed as they all waved and said hi “She kinda got trampled by the fans outside and broke her leg”

“Ouch! Are you ok?” Liam asked. They were all feeling guilty judging by the looks on their faces

“yeah I’m ok, it just hurts… A lot” she gave them a small smile.

Tim came back at that stage and started to wrap Sophie’s leg. The boys continued chatting and playing on Louis iPad while keeping a curious eye on Sophie and what Tim was doing to her. I sat next to her on the couch and joined in with the boys lively banter. I didn’t want them teasing me later about liking Sophie 

Did i just admit I liked her? As in LIKE liked her?

Well the boys would be able to tell easily if I kept talking with her and staring at her like I have been.

Damn it Harry, stop staring at people! It’s creepy!

Our hands were resting on the sofa inches apart. I just wanted to reach out and hold it. Feel it’s warmth. But I can’t. She could have a boyfriend for all I know!

She suddenly let out a gasp and grabbed my hand an squeezed it tight.

“Ow ow ow ow ow” she whispered as her face scrunched up in pain.

Stroked the back of her hand with my thumb and looked at her concerned. I didn’t want her to be in pain.

“There we go! All done” Tim announced proudly as he snipped the last bandage.

“Now I’ll just go and find some Crutches for you”

The boys all looked up at this with mischievous looks on their faces. I had to admit playing with crutches was fun.

“So Sophie, are you a fan?” Zayn asked

“Umm yeah, a big one” she turned red again and looked down

“YAY!! ANOTHER FANNY!!!” Louis screamed and threw his arms up

We all looked at him and laughed. Sophie was in hysterics and moved her leg accidentally. 

“Oww!” she frowned “this will take some getting used to”

Tim came back with the crutches which Zayn immediately took and started to swing around the room. She started chatting with the other boys and Louis came and plonked himself on my lap, wrapped his arms around my neck and gave me a big loud kiss on my cheek. Oh how I love our bromance.

“Babe I’m starting to get jealous” he smirked at me

“what are you talking about” I asked innocently. There was no point trying to hide anything from Lou, he knew me too well.

“Hmm” he looked at me with one eyebrow raise, clearly I was not fooling him at all, “You know as your legal guardian I am basically your parent?” he asked me, clearly leading this somewhere

“yeah” I answered Carefully

“Well then, if you lie again and don’t tell me what’s really going on I’ll send you to your room!” he said dramatically

“Lou, we aren’t at home. My room isn’t here” I point out

“Well I’ll send you to a room. Now spill” he said poking my cheek

I sighed “there isn’t anything to spill Lou. I have known her for like 20 minutes.”

“I saw you staring at her and the way you held her hand to comfort her” he said knowingly. We had moved of the sofa so Sophie wouldn’t overhear us. Of course I had to carry Louis bridal style coz he was too lazy but that was a normal occurrence with Larry Stlyinson.

“yes Louis I like her” I said, defeated “but I don’t know anything about her! She could have a boyfriend for all I know!”

“Well Liam asked and she doesn’t have a boyfriend, but if you took her on a date you would know stuff about her!” he said. I knew he was right. I looked over at the georgous girl sitting on the sofa, throwing her head back and laughing at something Niall had said.

“Fine.” I mumbled

“That’s my child!” Lou grinned

“Louis I am not your child just because you are my guardian” he knew I secretly loved it.

I went and sat back next to Sophie. She smiled up at me

“What’s up?” I asked smiling back at her

“They’re telling me embarrassing stories about you” she laughed

Oh no

“I didn’t know your ringtone used to be ‘Barbie girl’” she laughed

“Hey!” I said defensively “The ladies loved it!”

She thought for a second and then said “nope. Definitely not hot”

“Wow, the amazing ladies man Harry Styles has a faulty move?” Niall gasped in mock horror

“Yeah well, it takes training, experiments and failure to get this legendary” I defended

They all laughed and kept telling embarrassing stories about each other.

“Sophie, I called your mum and she will be here in five minutes to take you to the hospital” Tim called as he stuck his head around the corner of the door. Louis gave me a look and mouthed NOW. If I was going to make a move on Sophie I only had five minutes.
