Everyone was at home, doing their normal things: Tom was in his room playing Susan, trying to compose a song. Matt was on his bed, taking flattering selfies, and posting them. Edd was on the couch with Ringo in his lap. And Tord was in the kitchen, trying to make toast.
"Tord, you need help with that?" asked Edd, clearly seeing Tord struggling.
"No, I'm fine! I just, gotta-" and a little spark emerged from the kitchen. Edd scrambled over to him to check the damage. Tord got 5 burns on his hand, and the toaster was ripped in half. Matt and Tom heard the little explosion and ran over.
"What the bloody hell was that?" (A/N: Me and my damn Harry Potter vibes) Matt exclaimed. Edd gave a brief answer while taking care of Tord, "Tord tried making toast by shoving his hand in the toaster."
Tom snickered then fixed himself. "Geez, commie, how hard is it to make toast?"
"Very hard, as you can see." Tord snarled.
Edd stopped them both, "Matt, take Tord to the hospital, and Tom, go to your room." Matt nodded, and Tom sulked away.
This is a normal thing in the Eddsworld house, but things wouldn't be normal for long...

Tord came home with Matt, bandages wrapped all around his arm (and on his mouth because he wouldn't shut it).
"Doctor says it'll heal in a month or so, for now he musn't use his arm." Matt squeaked, taking the bandage off of Tord's mouth, who gave a yelp of pain.
"Alright, but how much was the bill?"
Edd replied. Tord gave him a look, and went to his room.
"Well, I guess about £78?" Matt shrugged, noticing Edd's expression.
He ran off, Edd sighed and turned around to do some math and shit, ya know, adult stuff.

A/N: Sorry this first chapter seemed a little stupid, I was just reading a bunch of comics and then an idea sorta popped. I know I said that the cover would be done by the first chapter but it's harder than I expected it to be.
