That saying filled the air as people rushed to Mr. Olo Kponko's compound.

Mr. Olo Kponko's wife had just put to bed a bouncing baby boy. The boy had long fingers, ebony coiled hair, blue eyes and pointed nose.

Mr. & Mrs. Olo Kponko had been married for thirteen years without an issue. They had gone everywhere and they had also done many things that many people asked them to do. But all was to no avail. Not until they both prayed to God and things became better for them, to the point of having a son. Mr. Olo Kponko named his son Shagamu. He hailed from the western part of Nigeria, and the name means wealth. Shagamu is a name of a place in Ogun state, Nigeria. The place is full of natural resources. That made everyone happy that Mr. Olo Kponko could boast of being a parent.

Beforehand, Shagamu was five years old. He was growing well and tall. Shagamu was healthy and well fed by his loving parents. He loved to eat plantain, rice and beans mixed with vegetable stew and fish. That combination of food helped him to grow better than other kids in the compound.
