"Look at this," Bre exclaimed while holding up a strawberry the size of her fist. "It's a strawberry on steroids!"

I laughed at her stunned expression as she put it back. "You mean that's not a normal sized strawberry?"

Her back was to me but she sensed my sarcasm. "Oh, haha, very funny."

I picked through the cartons of blueberries as she walked up next to me. "This fruit stand is amazing."

I nodded. "It's the best."

I paid for everything and we were off. "That was fun," she giggled. "But it's only 12:30 P.M."

I grinned at her while I gripped the steering wheel. "I know."

She raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"I was thinking, maybe you'd like to go to the beach? I was going to surf..."

Her eyes grew wide with excitement. "I'd love to!"
