Fourteen //

When I was done eating breakfast, I headed towards Levi's office. On my way there, I came across Marco.

"Oh hey Marco." I greet him.

"Hey..." He says a bit sad.

"Uh...I...I'm sorry for the dance last time..." I reply rubbing the back of my neck.

"It's okay." He answers rather bored.

I nod awkwardly. He is carrying a travel bag. "You're going to see your family ?"

"Yeah." He answers." I gotta go now."

"O-okay, see ya."

I enter Levi's office. "I think Marco hates me."

"Good."

I glare at him.

" Anyways, you're ready ?"

"Yeah, let's go."

We jump into a carriage.

"Where is the orphanage ?"

"In Trost district."

After a 30 minutes long travel, we arrive in front of the orphanage.

"I'm gonna go hide the gifts behind the house, wait here."

He nods.

A few minutes after I get back, I take and deep breath and knock on the door.

An old lady opens, "Hello (y/n)."

"Hello Carla." I whisper almost in tears. I hug her tight and enter the house.

"(Y/N) IS BACK !!!" A blond boy yells. And in under a few seconds, 8 kids appear in front of me and hug me like there is no tomorrow (actually maybe there isn't, we never know).

"We missed you !" A long haired girl says.

"I miss you guys too." I reply with a big smile and watery eyes.

"Who is that ?" A boy asks, pointing at Levi.

"This is Levi." I reply. "Levi, this is Theo, Leo, Angela, Albert, Simon, Charlotte, Maria and Jessica ."

"Nice too meet you." He says rather coldly.

Charlotte pulls my sweater. "Is he your boyfriend ? He is good looking." She states with an innocent smile.

Levi blushes a bit.

I pat the top of Charlotte's head and wink at her.

"Can I offer you a cup of tea ?" Carla asks Levi.

"Yes, please." He answers and follows her to the dinning room.

Levi is casualy sipping on his tea when Leo pulls his shirt.

Levi looks down at him. "What is it ?"He asks in a monotone voice.

"Why are you holding your cup weirdly like that?"

"Leo ! That's not polite !" I snap, chuckling.

Levi clicks his tongue.

When he looks up, he spots Theo staring at him.

"What are you looking at ?" He asks, rather stoic.

Theo slams his little hands on the table. "If you ever hurt (y/n), I will kill you !" He shouts.

Levi raises his eyebrows.

"Theo !" I scream rather angry.

Levi chuckles. "Don't worry kid."

"Can you take us to the park (y/n) ?" Albert whines.

"Of course, you're coming Levi ?"

He nods.

Levi, me and the bunch of kid are walking towards the park.

Jessica pulls Levi's shirt. "What do you want ?"

"Would you give me a piggy ride ?" She asks with sparkles in her eyes.

Levi rolls his eyes and crouches Jessica climbs up to his shoulder and sits on them.

"Hold on tight." Levi says.

She nods and firmly grab his head, making him roll his eyes once again.
If she falls, it won't be from very high anyways.

Don't tell him I said that.

We arrive at the park and take a sit on a bench while the children split and start running around.

A few minutes after, Angela pulls Levi shirt too. "Yes ?" He sighs, clearly done with trying to look cold and annoyed so the kid won't approach him.

"Come push me on the swing please !" She asks jumping up and down as pointing towards the swing.

Levi stands up and follows her to the swing.

I chuckle once again. He would make a damn good father.

Two hours after, we get back and have lunch.

"Soooo, did you kill titans ?" Simon asks me.

"Yeah, a lot actually."

"Coool" Simon replies stuffing his mouth with mashed potatoes.

"What about you, Le-vi ?" Theo asks rather arrogant. "I bet you're lame !"

"Actually Theo, Levi is Humanity's best soldier."

"Pfff..." Theo replies

Levi clicks his tongue, not giving two shits about Theo's arrogant attitude.

At the end of the meal, Maria asks Levi to go play with her, Jessica and Charlotte. He accepts and follows them into their room.

A while after, I decide to go check on them.

When I enter the room, I burst out laughing. Levi is sitting in a circle with two scruffy looking teddy bears, holding a tiny plastic teacup, with his hair put in pigtails.
It looks really odd, since he has his basic stoic expression on his face.

He stands up, "Miss Jessica, would you excuse me, I'd like to talk to my princess."

Jessica giggles. "Of course Sir Levi." She replies, faking a serious expression.

He walks towards me and shuts the door.

"I understand why you love them so much." He whispers with a smirk.
