Back in the vicinity of the cruiser Cory stared at the vast beauty that was in front of him. He hoped that whatever the plan was for the mission was effective.  Now that they were going to be leaving as soon as they got on board he found he missed home for the first time in his life and wanted to get back as quickly as possible. The only way to do that was to win this war.

"Get ready for landing." Krystal said as she matched speed with the massive ship. She skillfully maneuvered the fighter in line with the hanger bay and slipped the little ship through the bay door. Setting down on the deck she shut down the ship and climbed out with Cory right behind her. They unloaded the food and Cory's things and walked to the area that analyzed food for the dispenser.

"Is there anywhere we could use for making this pizza?" Cory asked "an oven or stove, perhaps?"

"Sure a lot of the crew cook in their quarters."  Krystal replied as the foodstuffs Cory had brought from Earth were scanned and entered into the database.

When they got to the crews quarters Krystal showed Cory his room. He was surprised by the size of his quarters, they were bigger than his apartment back on Earth. There was a kitchen, a sitting area with a screen for entertainment as well as communications between crew members, a fairly large bathroom area with a sonic shower and refuse collector for bodily wastes, and sleeping quarters with a clothing replicator for uniforms as well as leisure clothing.  After the tour they went into the kitchen area and put the pizza in the oven to cook.

"It's a good thing we stopped at the food service computer to scan all your food in." She said, "Now when you want something to eat all you have to do is tell the computer what you want and how to serve it for you."

"That's pretty cool," Cory told her, "but what if I want to cook my own food?"

"Just tell it to give it to you raw," She responded, "Then you can cook what you like."

The oven timer chimed to let them know the pizza was ready. Putting it on a platter large enough to hold it, they cut it into slices and went to the command center to share it with T'ilvesh. When they got there they put the root beer in a cooling space and Krystal set the controls for a fast chill to just above freezing and waited for about 2 minutes for the unit to cool off the drink.

"..and you'll have to start your warrior training after you get some rest ." T'ilvesh was saying to Cory as they sat around the conference table.

"I hope that I don't let you down." Cory stated "I'll do my best but I'm not making any promises."

"I'm sure you'll do fine, seeing as how you will also be the instructor for the weapons you brought with you." the commander said "By the gods, that smells awfully good."  as He sniffed the aroma of the food.

Krystal gave the Commander the data disc with the weapons data on it. After T'ilvesh handed the disc to a subordinate for upload to the ships computers for analysis.

"I hope you like it. We call it a pizza, It's a common food on Earth and the best part is you can make it with anything you like on it so it can be as different as you want." Cory said.

When the drinks were ready Cory and Krystal set the food down while T'ilvesh took his drink and a plate with a slice already on it. They were quiet while the commander took his first bite of one of Earths favorite foods. His eyes widened as he chewed and all the flavors mingled on His tongue. The commander smiled as he chewed then swallowed.

"This is fantastic!" T'ilvesh said as he swallowed his first bite of the pizza, "This drink is amazing. What is it called?"

"Root Beer." Cory answered "You can find both in the food dispenser since we uploaded all of the foods that we brought back with us into your database."
