A Capitol plane came and picked us up and brought us back to the Capitol. Doctors treated my wounds with some crazy medicine that healed them almost right away. Cato was taken by another team and cleaned up and treated for his wounds. We finally met back up for the final interview with Caesar, it went smoothly and the crowd adored us. Afterwards, we said our goodbyes to our mentors, stylists, and Capitol guides and were escorted into a train to take us back home to District 2.
"We're home." I whisper as we look out of the train car window and smile at the people of District 2.
"We're home." Cato repeats as he kisses my forehead and squeezes my hand.
