Fork's Hospital

Third Person POV

"We've got a special one for you Doc." Said Rebecca, a nurse practitioner to Carlisle. "She'll be here in a minute." She didn't point, but Carlisle knew that this nurse was edgy about her patient. That is why, the responsibility had been passed onto him, as the head of the medical department.

It was at that point, that a hospital trolley was rolled in by 5 paramedics, surrounded by several extra people who were observed to be guards, from the way they stood, and the fact that they carried batons. He looked at his new patient, as one of the paramedics informed him of her details. "This is Felicity Nora Sanders, 20 years old, witnessed a major cut to the whole of her right leg, bruises to the stomach, and a fracture to the back of the head. There are several minor scratches, seemingly from finger nails, as she was in a fight, with another woman, Gertha, who suffered less damage than Felicity here. She (Gertha)'ll be brought to the other side of the ward, to separate them both. Doctor Francisco is examining Gertha, whilst you examine Felicity. They're both from the physciatric hospital, so, do be warned. Other than that, there's nothing else that you should know, apart from the fact that she's on a particularly high dose of morphine, but that will clear, by the time she's woken up properly."

Interesting. "Why was she is in mental hospital?" He asked. She's didn't seem physco. He saw her chest rise and fall, her breathing slow and steady, caused by the morphine. It was then, that one of the guards spoke up, "She claimed that she saw vampires, but that they were her friends. She told her parents, and they sent her for help. Supernatural stuff, just doesn't exist you know?"
If only they knew. Poor thing. Despite the warnings, and the description about/of her, I couldn't help but be intrigued, not just her experiences, but the way she looked... She made me want to be friends with her, eventhough I didn't know her. I hadn't even met her yet, and it already felt like I knew her. She made me feel almost human. I promised myself that, I would find out more about her. Because, there was more to her, than what meets the eye.

It was then, that I started asking myself mental questions.
She had met vampires, and they were her friends? How long ago was that? And who were the vampires?

***

She looked so peaceful, and could've easily been mistaken for an angel, her hair planted round her head like a halo. She was just so beautiful, but she was also my patient. Let's see how that works out, shall we.

Her POV

I kept on going in and out of consciousness, it was like I could feel everything that was happening around me, what the nurses were doing, even that Doctor who kept on checking up on me, but I couldn't move a muscle. Maybe it was because I was too weak, or maybe it was the fact that when I woke up, I had quite a shock.

***

My eyes fluttered open, but everything was way to bright, the lights burned my eyes, and whiteness was all around me. It was just too white. So, when I tried to put my hands on my eyes, it didn't help that someone had put me in a straightjacket. Great, now I can't even go back to sleep. I didn't intend on staying in this position till my arms hurt, so I tried my best to get it off, but with no success.

It was at that point, that the Doctor that kept on checking up on me entered, though, (ironically,) he was not fast enough to stop my fall, and so I tumbled off the side of the bed, trying desperately to get the straightjacket off. It was then, that the Doctor rushed to my help, undoing my straightjacket, and setting me free. I looked at him, shocked, before running to the corner, furthest away from the door. He was quick to realise that the amount of human contact that I had had, was close to none, and so walked up to me, with his hands up, like I was a wounded animal. I suppose I was. Though I felt safe around him, and then was a strong urge for me to trust him, I couldn't help but be unsure. I was never really one for Doctors, or hospitals for that matter, the way that everything was so clean, so tidy, so white. He got closer, and I took my time to relax, and take in my new surroundings. I was uneasy about the whole thing, but as he held out his hand to me, I couldn't help myself. I took it.
