I was Thinking....

How long has it really been in between Tfp and Trid?

I've seen some guesses. Like fifty years, or a couple centuries. Or maybe so long that the kids, agent Fowler, and Mrs Darby have all passed away. That kinda stuff.

Guesses that assume it's been longer rather then shorter. But I have reason to believe that it has only been five years at the most.

Take into consideration rescue bots, it takes place during Tfp. But season 4 takes place during Trid.

My first reasoning for this being possible: Cody.
In the first three seasons of rescue bots he's not old enough to drive, which leads me to believe he's in middle school.

He couldn't have just started high school because after three seasons he still wasn't old enough to drive, so he's a middle schooler.

In season 4 he is older, possibly old enough to get a driver's permit. But even if he had just started middle school in the first season it would still have taken four years for him to be old enough to get a permit.

My second reasoning: Bumblebee.
Bumblebee has appeared in a few rescue bot episodes in the first two seasons.

Season 1 episode 18 "Bumblebee to the Rescue"

Season 1 episodes 25-26 "It's a Bot Time" "Bot to the Future"

Season 2 episode 21 "Odd Bot Out"

These all take place in Tfp because bee can't talk. He makes no appearance in season 3 but when he comes back in season 4 he can talk. And talks about his team. His bee team.

This combined with what I hypothesized about Cody's age says that he got his voice back, the war ended, he became a cop, left for earth, got a team, and has been doing it for a while now all within four years.

Now that I've written it all out it seems confusing to me....it worked out better in my head and now I feel like this is complete junk. Oh well.
