"Come on," Mats sighed, leaning against the doorway of the bathroom, a smile playing on his lips.  "It's just a casual lunch, and its just the guys.  Who are you trying to impress?"

You had been getting ready to go out to lunch with your boyfriend, Mats Zuccarello, and were gonna meet the rest of the team for the first time.  To say you were nervous was an understatement; you wanted them to approve of you, since they were like his brothers in every aspect but blood.  And nobody wanted to be that girlfriend that everyone couldn't stand.

"I'm just... What if they don't like me?" You put your mascara down and leaned forward on the counter, staring at yourself in the mirror.  You heard him laugh as he walked up behind you, ruffling your hair a little.

"Stop it!" You scolded, immediately trying to smooth your hair back down. "I just got it right..."

"You look beautiful, stop worrying," he reassured you, wrapping his arms around your waste.  "Plus, the guys will love you, i promise."

You looked at him apprehensively, your stomach in knots.  "Alright... lets go."

You were fidgeting with the bottom of your sweater as Mats pulled up next to a small fast food place downtown.  You looked out your window and couldn't help but laugh.

"Dairy Queen? Really?"

Mats smiled and shrugged.  "I told you it would be casual."

You giggled as he took the keys out of the ignition, and then you opened your door and got out.  Mats walked around the car and took your hand, pulling you towards the door.  As you walked in, you felt slightly more at-ease when you saw all the guys laughing and joking around with each other like giant kids.  Mats took you around and introduced you to the Rangers crew one-by-one, and you could feel yourself relaxing even more.  The guys were pretty nice and playful, and you began to feel more comfortable with them.  When you were done meeting everyone, you and Mats sat down at a table with McDonagh and Stepan, who were bickering over who could fit the most ice cream in their mouths at once.

"I told you, nothing to be worried about" Mats said as he kissed your cheek.  You couldn't help but smile as you saw Kreider slip on a 'wet floor' sign and grip onto Brassard, taking them both down.

"i guess you were right," you admitted, taking a sip of your Blizzard. "You're all children."
