strangers - klance

one

11: 38 am. keith's first day at his new summer job in a coffee shop. great. he hopes that he doesn't get on the bad side of his coworkers.

he walks into the shop and goes to the counter. at the counter was a nice looking girl with the name tag reading "Pidge."

"uh, hi there. i'm a new employee here, can you please show me to the manager's office?" keith asked.

pidge stared at him for a few seconds, deep in thought. "oh yeah! keith! sure, i'll take you to the boss." pidge said. she leaded him to the office door. "the boss will tell you what to do since it's your first day. but if you ever have any questions, then i'm here, since i'm one of the only employees that works at this joint." pidge smirked and walked away back to the counter.

keith gulped and knocked on the door. he waited until he heard "come in." so keith went in.

what keith expected was definitely not it. he saw a man with a whole head filled with white hair that was pulled into a man bun. the man also had a muscular body, and had no right arm. he had a friendly smile on his face. he was wearing black rimmed glasses, a white button up shirt with the sleeves pulled up to his elbow, and black jeans. he was extremely attractive.

"uh, hi, i'm keith kogane. i'm your new employee." keith said a bit akwardly, with a face derived of emotion.

"oh yes! today's your first day. i'm your boss, Takashi Shirogane, but you can just call me Shiro." he came up to keith and held his fist out. keith was confused for a second.

"oh..!" keith sighed in disappointment of himself and fist bumped shiro. "i-it's a pleasure to start working with you, shiro."

"pleasure working with you too," shiro smiled at keith and pat his back. "here, ill show you around, except there's not much." shiro led keith to a room with a few lockers in it with sofas and a table. "this is the employees room. just choose whatever locker for putting you stuff in durning work, since we only have two other employees other than you that work here. also, here's the employees uniform." shiro gave keith a neatly folded black apron with a green shirt and blank name tag.

"when you're done changing, you can start your shift at 12 pm." shiro smiled and started walking out until he stopped midway out the door. "oh yeah, and there's a customer that comes in regularly for his daily coffee. watch out for him, he's a bit smug." shiro smiled and walked out the room.

keith sighed. this was definitely not the type of experience he thought he'd get on his first day at work.
