he gave me

a big box,

wrapped with

christmas images.

it was nowhere

close to christmas.

but i opened it anyway,

and he could hardly

hide the proud grin

on his face.

i opened the

small box,

and he gave me

a bracelet.

there was only

one item on it:

a piano charm.

i looked up at him,

holding onto the bracelet.

"i have one, too."

he held up his wrist,

it dangled before my eyes.

a violin charm

was connected to his.

"thank you for

believing in me,

even when i didn't.

thank you so much

for everything you've done, sola."

i scolded him once again,

told him to never

do anything cheesy

like this ever again

and i was going to die

from how cliché this was.

all he did was laugh.

but i put the bracelet

on my wrist,

and we went on

to practice again.

+i finished this book in my drafts,

so prepare for a mass update soon!! :)
