"Isn't it sad when you get hurt so much, you can finally say "I'm used to it"?"

~Camille's POV~

Oh my god... Why does school exist?

I mean I used to love it!

I slammed the 'off' button on my clock and growled loudly. I hate mornings. Specially cold mornings. And PB. And today, possibly everything.

Almost running into the bathroom because of the cold weather killing me, I started my morning routine with a hot and relaxing shower. It always made me feel better when I was stressed, but sadly today I was tired, and it's warm temperature just got me sleepier.

All I could hear as soon as I came out was Nana downstairs, cooking.

I put on a light blue t-shirt, some random tight jeans, my white converse and a white and warm sweater and wrapped a black, mid-thigh length coat around my arm after drying my hair. A shiny, 'infinite sign' shaped bracelet and a thin layer of pink lip smacker helped to make it all look better, and happy with the results, I ran downstairs.

"Hi Nana!" I shouted, entering the kitchen.

"Hey Millie," she answered happily. "I see you're feeling better today!"

Well no but... you're free to believe whatever you want.

I couldn't help but to notice that mom wasn't there. She usually is, we always have breakfast together...

"Where's mom?" I wondered out loud, taking a bite out of my toast.

"She didn't want to wake up early today, she said she had a headache."

I frowned towards the kitchen's door. I guess I should go see her...

I walked up the stairs, crossed the hallways and stepped beside her room's door.

Now, let's set one thing clear before we move on. Eavesdropping has never been my thing, but now it was kind of necessary. She was crying while having what I think was a phone conversation, and I just wanted to know why.

"Yes, she did," mom cried. "I guess it's my fault."

What?

I frowned, taking another bite and pressing my ear against the door.

"Well I don't think so, she has never been a violent person. It's just that, because of me, she's been having a really bad time."

Well... yea. But, I don't know... take it easy.

"I think I can take that back. After all, I was really excited about it too."

A small smile appeared on my lips, and I excitedly bit the toast again. Yay! The party could still be a deal!

"Well, no, she needs to be taught well..."

Okay, but that was close...

"Yes, I try. I think I shouldn't have taken that picture the other day. I miss him as much as she does, you know?" she muttered, barely above a whisper.

"He was amazing, and the memories that we have together won't ever be erased, no matter how it ended."

Oh hell no. Not one of these talks.

I ran away, down the stairs and back into the kitchen.

"How is she?" Nana asked.

"How is who?" I asked back, suddenly coming back to reality.
