In the Running - Kavi fan fiction

Chapter 1

Hey guys. This is my first fan fic so if it's shit then tell me. It does include smut but I'll put a 'S' at the start of each chapter with smut and also has swearing. It's a PTX and Kavi (Kirstie and Avi) fan fic but does have some Scomiche in it too

AVI POV

I sit down after a long day of writing songs for my new album. It has been two months since I left PTX and I miss all of the members so much. Scott, Mitch, Kevin and Kirstie. Especially Kirstie. Wait. I can't think like that. 'She's getting married for fuck sake. There was nothing between you two' is what the little annoying voice keeps repeating in my head. I get up and go to the fridge to get a beer to help clear my mind when my phone vibrates in my pocket. It's Kirstie. I open the text and read it. It says:
Kirstie 😜 18:34: Heyy avi. A few of us are going out to the club tonight and we were wondering if you wanted to come. We haven't seen you in so long. Please? We all miss you?
I smile and type a reply back quickly.
1836: Hey Kirst. Sure I'll be there. Wouldn't even miss it if Game of Thrones was on tv. What club? What time?
A reply comes back instantly.
Kirstie 😜 1836: We both know that's a lie. It's at the club just under my apartment. Come round to mine now and then we can go?
She wants me to go to hers. My heart skips a beat and I read the message again to make sure my mind isn't playing tricks on me.
18:40: Sure, let me just go shower and get dressed. I'll be at yours in 30 mins"

I put the phone down excited and go into the bathroom. I get in the shower and wash, then go dry and get changed. I put my hair into a messy man bun and put on some black jeans and a red and black checkered flannel shirt. I grab my keys and phone, put the alarm on in my house and lock the door. I practically run down the steps leading to the bottom of my apartment building and get in my car. The sound of the engine makes me refocus my mind because all that I could think about was Kirstie. Her beautiful brown eyes. Her perfect blonde hair. Her gorgeous smile. I drive off and head towards her apartment.

I arrive outside and get out my car, locking it. I walk up the stairs and finally reach the door to her apartment. As I build up the courage to knock on the door, Jeremy (her fiancé) opens it. Jeremy never particularly liked me as Mitch told him once that I like Kirstie. Everyone knows except her but after Mitch had said that, Jeremy never trusted me. That was one of the reasons why I left the group.

"Hey Jeremy, is Kirstie here?" I ask him casually but he looks at me suspiciously. As he is about to answer, Kirstie walks into the room and sees me. "Aviiiiiiiii" she screams with excitement to see me and runs towards me, hugging me. "I haven't seen you in so long" she says and pulls away from the hug. I notice Jeremy giving me a death stare but I don't really mind.

Then I notice what Kirstie is wearing. She has the most incredible strapless silver dress on that stops at her thighs and her blonde hair is cut to her shoulders. She looks perfect. Jeremy says he has to leave for work, kisses Kirstie (which kinda hurts me not gonna lie) and pats my back, then leaves. "So who's going tonight?" I ask causally as I walk into her apartment.

"Just the group" she says and gets her keys. "Ready?" She asks and I nod. We walk back out and down the stairs, just talking about my new EP and songs. As we approach the club, I notice Scott and Mitch in there. We walk straight in and straight up to them.
