Chapter 47

Javiare

I felt her rip into my skin and start to drink my blood. I looked back and saw Juane coming over to rip me away but I only pulled Sophia closer, and moved away from Juane. He still persisted and pulled me away as I started to get light headed, i fell to the floor and looked up at him. "What in the world is wrong with you?!" He shouted at me, "she could have killed you!"

I looked back at Sophia and saw her smile as she licked her lips, slowly her legs gave way and she fell asleep. "I had to" I told him, "she needed more blood"

Juane shook his head, "no, we would have gotten more" he said

Getting up and covering my arm to stop the bleeding I walked closer to him, "you can't, the hospital said no" I reminded him

"I won't get it from the hospital" he said walking past me, "i can't trust you with her alone, im getting your friend to come and watch you" he said stopping in front of the trap door

I watched him the whole time, "oh yeah, well where are you getting it from?" I asked

He slipped down the trap door, "I think we both know where there is more blood" his eyes just barely peaking into the attic

I walked to the trap door, "you cant go back there!" I yelled, "we dont know if youll come back with more vampires"

Catlyn latched onto his arm, "that is why I'm going with him" she said

Juane and I looked at her, "no, they will hurt you" Juane said

Catlyn shook her head, "Sophia saved me, so its time I saved her" Juane sighed

"Your staying by my side the entire way" he told her, "oh, and can you call for that friend again, I don't trust Javiare here alone with Sophia, he might pull the same trick again"

Catlyn nodded then mind linked Roman, "he'll be here in a few minutes" Catlyn confirmed

Juane smiled down at her, "great, thanks" he said

"Hey, I dont need a baby sitter, I can make my own decitions" I told them

Juane looked up at me, "you mean like the one that almost got you killed? Yeah, I'm not letting that happen" Juane said

As soon as I was about to retaliate I heard Romans footsteps coming up the stairs, i turned around and walked over to where Sophia lied. She must have passed out from my blood, I hope I gave her enough, I thought. I then heard Romans voice, "hey, you called" he said

"Uh, yeah, we think you should stay with Javiare here and watch him, he almost let Sophia take his blood. We think it would be best if someone kept an eye on him" I heard Juane talking with Roman like he was my parent or something, "yeah, I get it" Roman said

I then heard Roman pull himself up into the attic, "hey, how is she?" He asked walking over

I slumped down onto the seating next to her and sighed, "I dont even know anymore" I said leaning my head back letting it fall

Roman sat next to me and but his elbow on his knees, "well, at least she's alive" he said, "and here with you"

"Yeah, I guess, but its not the same. I cant hold her, cuddle her close. I can't feel her skin, or the bond" I told him

"Well, I know it will work out, Sophia is stronger than you think" he looked over at me then at Sophia, "i bet she is fighting the blood lust right now just so she can see you again"

I looked up, " all I hope is that she is not in pain" I told him looking over at Sophia

"She has handled worse" he said monotone, "there is no pain like watching your mate die right in front of you" he said, "my mom went through it"

"Sophia never felt the pain" I said

Roman looked over, "what?"

"She never felt anything when he died, she had already moved on, I'm guessing she rejected him unconsciously when you banished him and then the moon goddess paired us up" I explained to him

He looked at me wide eyed, "whoa really?" He paused a moment and I nodded, "that's crazy, but still she is stronger than this"

I sighed and let my head fall back once again, "yeah, it still doesn't stop me from worrying" I told him...

Sophia

I felt weightless, like I was deep under water. Looking up I saw a ray of sunlight shineing down into the water. I could breathe even though I was under water. Swimming around I tried to move but it was no use,  my swimming got me no where. Looking around I saw a black figure right next to me, "uh, hello?" I called surprised I could talk

The black shadow figure suddenly had a cheakey white smile, "hello" I heard my voice say, but it didn't come from me

"Oh, uh, who are you?" I asked leaning back

"What do you mean?" Her head fell to her left side "I am you" her head fell to the other side "and you are me, we are one in this body and mind"

I shook my head, "no, I've never seen you before" I said

She laughed, "well honey that's because im the blood lust" she paused and spears right in front of me our noses almost touching "and this is going to be my body now!" She yelled...
