THIRD PERSON:

She stares at her reflection in absolute disgust, her fingers running over the several scars that filled her stomach. Her hands then slowly move up to another scar that was just below her left eye, flinching slightly as the awful memories flood back to her mind. Y/N couldn't stand the way she appeared, it almost like she was the girl version of the beast. All she wanted was to be perfect like all the other girls that strutted around in this quiet little town, but instead she's stuck with many scars and a boyish hairstyle.

"And Mr. Holland has arrived!"

Y/N rapidly tugs a random shirt over her head before racing down the stairs of her comforting home. She happily grabs the bag of Chinese food from her best friend, ignoring his open arms for his welcoming hug.

"Wow. I took my precious time to get us some delicious dinner and I don't even get warming hug in return? I need new friends." He teases.

Y/N giggles, taking some noodles while using a pair of chopsticks. "I can't help that my growling tummy is more important than you."

He places his hand over his heart, pretending to be hurt. "Tom Holland's heart is broken now because of you."

The young woman shakes her head at her best friend's exaggerated comment while grabbing two plates for their food. "And Y/N Y/L/N, doesn't care for your shattered tiny heart."

The both of them burst into laughter, fixing their plates before heading into the living room for a movie. Y/N presses play on the movie, causing a loud and obnoxious groan to escape from Tom's lips.

"Seriously, Step Up 3? This is honestly the worst movie you have chosen in the history of us being friends." Tom pouts, taking a large chunk of noodles and sticking them in his mouth.

"I think you're just jealous that they can dance better than you, especially Moose." She sends a wink towards her irritated buddy.

He scrunches his nose, glaring at the girl. "I'm a way better dancer than that kid named Moose- who names their child Moose anyways?"

"For your information," Y/N begins, clicking her tongue on the roof of her mouth. "That's his nickname, his actual name is Alexander...the third to be exact."

"Yeah, whatever." He laughs lightly, getting situated in his spot on the couch.

After finishing up with dinner, Y/N snuggles up to Tom chest, her eyes focused on the movie. Throughout the movie her mind wondered on and off to the way Tom made her feel. Even with just the light touches from him made her squirm with excitement, she wanted Tom to be more than just her friend.

But he wouldn't care for a girl with a bunches of scars that covered her body. She thought to herself, the tips of her fingers going over the familiar mark on her face.

"What do you think?" Tom questions, breaking Y/N from her thoughts.

She sits up from his chest, furrowing her eyebrows together. "I'm sorry, what were you saying?"
