The next morning, as Bobby heads to his first period speech class, Darius walks around the corner at the opposite end of the hallway.

Trent, like Tyler, had been suspended, but Darius didn't receive a punishment.

Bobby, having no idea what to expect, just continues walking.

Darius notices Bobby and purposely stays away from him, avoiding eye contact as well. Bobby can't help but smile.

Just then, two students walk past him.

"Hey, could I borrow your math notes?" One of the students asks the other. "I really don't wanna fail Mrs. Murdoch's practice test."

"Sure. You're gonna need 'em." The other student says. "If this test is as hard as the worksheets, then today is gonna suck."

Bobby stops walking at looks at the students.

"I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you." He says smiling.

"Thanks, Quotes!" Both students say, also smiling.

An hour later, in the hallway during passing period...

Peter is at his locker looking for a folder. Before he finds it, he notices someone approaching him out of the corner of his eye. He turns his head.

"Oh, hey, Lily." Peter says smiling.

"Hey." Lily says, smiling back.

She awkwardly stands there, completely silent for a few seconds.

"Uh...what's up?" Peter asks.

"I broke up with Trent." Lily answers without hesitation.

"Really?" Peter asks, suddenly excited.

"Yeah." Lily answers. "He's such an awful person."

Peter nods his head in agreement.

More awkward silence.

"So...do you still wanna-"

"Yes." Peter interrupts Lily while smiling.

Lily smiles back.

A few hours later, at lunchtime...

Peter and Bobby are sitting across from each other at their usual table in the back of the cafeteria.

Lily is sitting next to Peter.

"Congra...gratulations, d...dude." Bobby says to Peter.

"Ooh, that's a big word." Peter says teasingly.

"Sh..shut up." Bobby says chuckling.

Peter and Lily chuckle too.

"God, it's been one hell of a week!" Peter exclaims.

Bobby nods his head.

"Another Friday gone, another problem solved." He says.

"Another few problems solved." Peter says. "You're not gonna be bullied anymore, I've got a girlfriend, and your speech impediment isn't as bad as it was on Monday."

"Yeah." Bobby says smiling. "Life is g...good."

"Life is fuckin' awesome!" Peter exclaims.

Bobby and Lily laugh.

Peter looks at Lily.

"I gotta be honest though, I'm new to the whole "boyfriend" thing. What exactly am I supposed to do?" Peter asks.
