Maryam's P.O.V

I was sitting on the bed deep down on my thoughts I was very helpless I couldn't help my family from being tortured by my mother-in-law

Was I been selfish no no no that's not possible I can sacrifice myself for my family but I have to take revenge from both my husband and his mother insha Allah

(Phone rings)
"Hello mom"

I heard mom sobbing I was shocked what could have made her cry

"Mom what's the problem"

"Mary-mar"

"Mom please calm down and tell me you're scaring me please tell me"

"Maryam your garndma has been taken to the hospital"

"What what happened to her mom"

"Heart attack maryam heart attack and she's not responding to medication"

The phone fell from my hand the world went blank for me I couldn't understand a thing to do my eyes became a flowing river tears just kept dripping from my eyes non-stop

I quickly start run from my room down the long stairs running and not looking back I was about to open the door and head to the hospital when I heard my name been called out loud

"Maryam don't you dare step your feet out then I give you my word your lovely grandma will die"

"How dare you mother-in-law you wouldn't do such a thing am going I'll be back later"

"Just a phone call your grandma will die and do you even have the money to pay for her bills"

"Your just saying I know you can't do such a disgusting act"

She took her phone out and called a number it rang and at once the person picked up and she turned it on to speaker

"Hello"

"Yes mam can I do anything for you"

"Yes you can my daughter-in-law's grandma a heart attack patient just came right"

"Yes ma she just came her and her family am gonna go and go and operate her because she's not responding to the medication"

"Alright I'll call you later keep going"

"You see I told you just a phone call can make your grandma leave this world forever I swear"

"No no no no please don't do such a thing I will do anything you want I promise you"

I went and kneel down on her feet begging her pleading and crying

"Okay okay now stand up let's have an agreement"

"Okay everything you want I promise I'll do it just name it " I said it crying and thinking of my grandma

"Number one my son shouldn't get to know how you and him got married,if you hurt him even a bit I will kill you whole family and my word are final if you ever threating me again I'll make sure you become an orphan okay lastly your going to be cooking from today and remember Omar shouldn't know a thing hope am clear"

"Yes you are "

"Now I want some ginger tea get some for me"

"Sure "

I headed to the kitchen to make her tea how I wish I could add poison it it so that she can die but unfortunately I fear Allah I kept talking to myself saying

"Maryam don't worry surly after hardship comes ease clam down maryam stop crying Omar shouldn't know about this"

I went and wash my face with water and stopped crying I was just praying for my grandma,I finished making her tea and took it to her and she said

"The doctor called and asked for the money he said 10 lakhs you should go and give your parents the money because they would not start the operation until they deposit the money"

"What 10 lakhs Ya Allah"

"Yes so go your free to go and see your grandma and give the money so that they can start their work"

"But where would I get such huge amount mother-in-law"

"Go keep going your free"

"Mother-in-law please help me please in the name of Allah please I have no money to give help me your son's wife please"

"Begging looks very good on you because this is what you are supposed to be doing not to become Aisha's daughter-in-law, here because the lady's in this house don't beg for money "

She threw the money on my face infrot of all her bodyguards I didn't say a word I took the money and head straight to the hospital

I did all the formalities and paid the money the the red light of the operation theater pup on all my family members kept praying

The red light pup on the doctors came out our grandma was in the bed the nurses took her to the ICU (intencive care unit)

"Doctor how is my mother now"

"Well she's under control now but we have to keep her at the ICU to see and regulate her health for few day's"

"Can I see her please doctor"

"Yes but only one person has to go the rest shouldn't enter"

"Sure thank you doctor thank you very much"

I've never seen my dad so broken like today he was so lost he kept crying and thanking God for his mother's healthy

"Dad please let me go and see grandma please dad"

He looked inside my eyes and smiled he nodes his head

"Thank you dad I love you so much"

I then went inside her room and went near her

"Alhamdulilah Ya Allah what would I ask form you if my grandma is alright then I want nothing else"

"Maryam can I ask for one last thing"

"Yes grandma just say it"

"But you have to promise me"

"I promise you grandma"

"I want to see my great grandchild"
