Chapter 9

(Malcolm's POV)

" Damn fuckin' alarm, now I'm late ," I sighed, the damn thing woke me up an hour late and mom nearly took my ears off because of it, while my brothers just laughed at me.

I pulled up into the building and rushed in, it was third period already so I went to Mr. Parker's. The guy was a rude ass hole I hated him but I had to just put up with him until the end of the year. I burst through the door and the scent hit me like a ton of bricks, honey, jasmine and lemon. It took my breath away, my wolf was going crazy clawing at my mind and I was about to go crazy myself.

" Mr. Walker, so nice of you to join us," I swallowed and took a breath.

" Sorry, over slept ," Mr. Parker grunted and ignored my sarcasm.

" We have two new students Mr. Walker, so why don't you take a seat next to Ms. Wilson over there ," I turned and she took my breath away, she was so perfect.

Her outfit hugged her body perfectly it made me want to drool like an idiot. Her hair was like long molten coppery chocolate and it shined like silk. Her face was glowing and her skin was like pure cream, her lips looked even better up close and I wanted to kiss her so badly. Then those eyes, those big violet blue eyes, they were sucking me in, and I didn't want to come back.

I walked over to the seat next to her and she looked like a deer caught in head lights, her whole body trembled when I came over, she was terrified of me sitting next to her. I just watched her all period, I couldn't get enough of her beauty she looked like a red haired angel, I couldn't believe she was mine.

" Hey man where were you this morning ?" I was sitting with my friend at lunch, but really all I could think about was my beautiful mate Margo.

" Oh um, alarm didn't go off ," Nate gave me a weird look.

" Dude, your spacing out, you've been doing it all morning what's up with you ?" I shook my head and smiled.

" Nothing man ," he raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything more. Just then Margo walked in, and I couldn't stop staring, she was so perfect, so beautiful. But then there was a guy with his arm around her waist, it made my blood boil, no one touches what's mine except me. I ground my teeth and watched her lean into him, he kissed the top if her head and I just about lost it.

" Mal, what's up with you man ?" I stood up and stormed out of the lunch room if I didn't get out now I would explode.

I panted, I had been running to let off some steam and calm myself down. I collapsed on the forest floor and let my tongue loll out, my chest heaving. I rolled on my side and let my heart rate slow down and my anger went away, I sighed and stood up shaking myself padding towards the falls. I stopped when I saw a flash of red, and then I saw Margo. My tail started going involuntarily and my tongue lolled out, I watched her as she padded through the water and walk through the falls. I followed her through, I remember my grandmother telling me stories about the tribe that lived near the falls. They worshipped the mother goddess and our ancestors as their protectors from the evil, this cave had been their sacred place where they worshipped and followed important ceremonies, it was also very beautiful. I watched her, sitting on the floor of the cave a large crystal in her hands. She seemed in awe about its color and when she seemed satisfied with looking at it she placed it back where she found it. I took a step closer and she tensed, spun making a sound that was almost a squeak. Her whole body was trembling and her doe eyes were wide and afraid. I shook the water out of my coat and laid down just looking at her, the color had drained from her beautiful face. I whined and crawled closer, she scooted away until her back hit the wall, I was right in front of her and she curled up in a ball squeezing her eyes shut.

" Please don't hurt me ," I whined and nosed her gently, rumbling softly, licking her cheek.

I whined and laid down next to her, my head resting near her leg, I wasn't leaving her no matter what.
