I had to eat mint leaves. They were the only food within a 10 mile radius.
Nathan and I had split up. I had no clue as to where he was. All I knew was that he was alive.

I managed to make a slingshot out of a small, curved branch and the elastic I used to tie my hair in.
I shot a tiny sparrow-like bird. It wasn't much of a meal. But it would suffice for now.

Andrea was still alive. I was relieved but I didn't know why. Maybe it was because she was the only thing I had in the arena that was close to home.

I was too tired to get up. But I needed shelter. I dug through the dirt next to me until there was a hole big enough for me to fit in. I jumped down and fell asleep.
