"-Now remember," Professor McGonogall spoke clearly, her voice ringing through the courtyard to be heard by the throng of students in front of her. "These trips to Hogsmead Village is a privilege. Should you do something-anything foolish, those rights will be taken away." she warned, Raven and Harry running up to the woman, panting for breath. She held up her hand. "No permission form signed, no visiting the village. Those are the rules."

Raven stepped in front of the lady with crocodile tears in her eyes. "But professor... we... we thought that if you signed it-"

"I can't. Only a parent or a guardian can. Since I am neither, it would be inappropriate..." she said, moving around the twins before patting Harry on the shoulder and looking between the two with a small sigh. "I'm sorry, Potters... that's my final word on the matter."

With a heavy sigh, the siblings gave each other fleeting glances before going off in different directions. Until later that night, when Hogwarts' doors were sealed, tension running high while the students slept in the Great Hall in sleeping bags. Sirius Black had made his way into the castle.
