I'm Gonna Have to Write That

I realized something sorta weird the other day.

I swear I didn't do this on purpose.

So I was watching some Hamilton parodies on YouTube, trying to convince my friend that Star Wars is cool.

And my little parody-writing mind immediately picked up on something I find absolutely coincidental.

Remember Isabelle, from the last chapter? You should, unless your name is Dory or you TL;DR'd. Hopefully you do. But anyway, she has something really neat in common with the founding father without a father.

Yes.

ISABELLE TANO-ELRIC

has the same number of syllables as

ALEXANDER HAMILTON

That number happens to be seven, not including middle names. Go ahead, clap it out, I'll wait.

That makes it ridiculously easy to write a parody, if the book ends up being a hit.

But that musical would be super dark. Like, seriously, a guy literally gets decapitated, a couple of kids end up unconscious in about six inches of their own blood, and one character admits they're glad their parents are most likely dead. And don't get me started on the fact that the whole plot revolves around the protagonist's parents not being a part of her life and her father-figure dying (not a spoiler, that happens pretty early on.)

Here's a teaser:

How does a half-ling, cyborg, child of a Jedi and a 'dead' man, taught to control her temper, trained by her mother's master's master, knows right from wrong, Light from Dark, with a heavy heart, grow up to be a (redacted for spoilers)?

But seriously if you guys want a musical based on the book, I would totally do it. It's just I can't read sheet music, so it'll mostly be parodies... hmm, I wonder if I can incorporate 'Candarian Demons' or 'I Want it That Way.' They're pretty awesome songs.
