"I'm sorry."

"No! Don't say that! You don't get to say that. You don't get to make me feel bad when you are the one pushing me away."

*Flashback*

"Jimin hyung get your cute butt over here, before I come after you!"

Jimin giggles before peeking his head out from behind the curtain. From his position, he has a perfect view of his Kookie. Jungkook lay sprawled across the couch pouting.

"I don't know... I kinda like this spot I can see you so well from here..." Jimin replied in a coy manner.

"Baby please," Jungkook's whines sounded like heaven to Park Jimin's ears, but he wasn't about to give up to easily.

With a sigh, Jimin made his way towards the couch. Jungkook was grinning from ear to ear in victory, but he got confused when his boyfriend past right by him into the kitchen instead of into his outstretched arms.

"I'll be a minute. I need a glass of water." Jimin called back nonchalantly from the kitchen. The pair have only been dating for a few weeks, but Jungkook wanted to move into together right away so they skipped the steps in between. Jungkook, however, had no idea how much of a tease his boyfriend was at the time and claims to regret his decision to live in such proximity to Jimin, but his bright smiles and constant joy told Jimin otherwise.

Sometimes Jimin catches Jungkook staring at him in a way the makes him feel like the only person in the world. Sometimes Jungkook packs Jimin's lunch with the last of the Kimchi without packing any for himself because he knows how much Jimin loves it. Sometimes Jungkook buys the cute little cheeses at the super market for Jimin even though Jungkook hates them and they're expensive. Sometimes after his late-night showers, Jimin finds Jungkook lying next to the bathroom door asleep because he stayed up late to listen to Jimin sing in the shower.

The little things that Jungkook do never fail to amaze Jimin. He might even be falling in love with the younger.

His thoughts are interrupted by Jungkook's arms around him. Jimin tries to escape but fails miserably.

"Hyung, I've got you now and don't think for a second I'm letting you go." Jungkook's evil cackles can be heard throughout the apartment as he drags a shrieking Jimin to their bedroom.

*End Flashback*

"Jimin please, Baby don't do this to me." Jungkook's voice breaks as he buries his head into Jimin's neck, his arms around the elder's waist holding him from behind. "We can get through this. I know we can! Just talk to me what can I do differently?"

Jimin raises his head to the ceiling praying to the ceiling fan to let him leave in less than a thousand pieces.

"This is exactly the problem you are perfect Kookie. I have never felt so loved in my life, but I can't keep doing this to you. You deserve so much better than me. How can I continue this if you give me everything, and I give you nothing in return? Four years Jungkook, four years and I'm still too scared to let you meet my parents. You proposed twice and I've refused each time. You know my brother's favorite food, but I still forget your Goddamn birthday! You are s- so good with your love, but I'm greedy with mine. How is that fair?" tears are streaming down both of their faces now. Broken sobs are the only sounds in the room.

"You are wrong Jimin-ah. You mean the world to me, and that's all that matters. We can try again, start over. I swear I won't propose again until you want me to. Just plea-"

"We've done this already Kookie. I didn't change the first time. I didn't change the second, a third time won't be any different."

"How can you know that?"

*Flashback*

"Jungkook are you asleep yet?"

"hmhmm," Jungkook nodded yes, but his response told Jimin otherwise.

"It's 5:10 am, exactly a year ago, at this time was when we first kissed. Do you remember? Suga hyung hosted that party, and we were both too tired to drive home. We ended up finally confessing to each other and kissing after my school alarm woke us up." Jimin couldn't catch what Jungkook's mumbles meant, so he continued talking half glad Jungkook wouldn't remember his words.

"That was the best day of my life Kookie. After a year of wearing that stupid charm bracelet, I finally confessed. You know I only wore that stupid thing because it had bells on it. I wanted it to jingle whenever I was around you, because of that drama you loved. You said you wanted to hear bells whenever your true love was near you like the characters in the show. My arm even got sore from twisting my wrist whenever you are around. The worst part was you never noticed the sound." Jimin chuckled at the memory. He brushed Jungkook's hair out of his eyes before leaving a kiss on Jungkook's forehead.

"Happy First Anniversary Baby," Jimin whispered before drifting off himself.

*End Flashback*

"So, this, is it? After everything we have been through, you are going to throw it all away? Why do you insist on wallowing in self-pity when I'm right here?" No matter how roughly Jungkook shakes him, Jimin's eyes remained glued to the ground. "Give me your anger, give me your fear, give me all of it Jimin. If you really don't have any love left in your heart like you say, then it is okay. I have enough love for both of us!"

Jimin yanks himself out of Jungkook's grasp and walks towards the door. Before walking out, Jimin turns back to look back once more at the only man he has ever loved who has now fallen to his knees.

"I love you Jungkook."

"I don't want your love if you only use it as a goodbye."

"Meet someone wonderful for me okay? Make them the happiest person in the world, but more importantly make sure they make you the happiest person in the world."

With that Jungkook is left on his knees staring at a closed door with half his heart hidden in the pocket of the man who walked away.
