i feel like we're not close
enough latelyi want to feel the burn of your lips, like the sunset flames of a bonfire as they scorch at my collarbones and trail down the paths of my neck,
i want you to plant entire gardens with your kiss, sprouting heavenly flowers and shaping the course of rivers as your fingers graze hairs that live upon skin,
i want you to make orchids bloom in distant eyes when our gazes are connected, to make them grow and tower like skyscrapers kissing the skyline,
i want to feel honey sweet harmonies in my head as your breath tickles my cheeks, words crawling out of your lips, so i can taste them on my tongue, like the first grains of sugar i ever was known to,
i want you to make the blood in my veins boil like volcanoes, erupting through each artery, screaming, sailing, until eventually it bleeds out -
all my thoughts, all my feelings, all my desires will bleed out in an entire battlefield of endless amounts of colour; like an entire fabrication of the words you left etched into my mind
and it will all be for you.
- everything I did; I did it for you.
