"We all now Elizabeth can't ice skate." my mom said causing everyone to laugh.

"I'll teach you," Shawn said. He placed his hand on my knee and smiled a small smile.

"I'm going to bust my butt." I said laughing.

"I probably will too." Shawn said smiling.

The uncomfortable ice skates surrounded my feet. I tried to keep my balance on the slippery ice, but it was difficult. Shawn skated over to me with ease since he played hockey he was really good.

"Here," Shawn placed his hands on my hips causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach, "just put your hands on my shoulders and try to keep your balance." He instructed. I did what he told me, and it actually worked out. That was until I fell hard on the cold ice taking Shawn down with me. Shawn's tall figure fell on top of mine causing me to erupt into laughter.

"Are you okay, oh my go-." Shawn was very concerned so I had to assure him that I was okay.

"Shawn," I started laughing too hard to even speak.

After seeing me laughing so hard Shawn's concerned face turned red from laughing so hard. We finally calmed down and attempted to stand back up.

"Oh my god!" I heard girls scream. I turned my head to see two girls skating over to us.

"You're Shawn Mendes." One of them said in shock.

"Yeah," he chuckled and smiled, "would you like a photo?" He offered. They both nodded their heads and handed him their phone. I just stood there awkwardly. I was use to Shawn having fans and stuff, and I was beyond proud of him.

"Is this your girlfriend?" One of them with blond hair asked pointing at me.

"Uh," I noticed his cheeks turn a light red, "no, no she's not."

"Oh well, she's really pretty. I think you two would make a great couple." She smiled at me before skating off with her friend. I could feel the blush rising on my cheeks.

"So," Shawn asked grabbing my hand, "want to try this again?" I chuckled and held his hands so I could keep my balance.
