Chapter 23

-the next day-

Cory's p.o.v

I just finished a hula lesson with Bri. I was walking back to my hut when nick stopped me.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Do you wanna hangout right now?"

"Sure," he smiled and grabbed my arm. He ran us to the amusement park. We got tickets and walked around looking for what ride we wanted to go on. We decided to go on one of the roller coasters. I love roller coasters. The line wasn't to long so it wouldn't be a bad wait. The roller coaster looked really cool. It had loops and went very high up. I can't wait to get on this thing.

Nick pulled my arm which caused me to look at him. I tilted my head a little and he motioned to the ride. I looked in front of us and saw we were supposed to get on. I nodded and stepped forward as nick did too. We climbed into a cart and buckled in. 

The ride was very cool. Lots of people were screaming when we went upside down. When we got off I had to help Nick off. Nick was having a problem walking. He looked like he was going to throw up. We walked over to a bench and sat down. I rubbed his back,he was hunched over trying not to throw up. I was worried about him. It took him a few minutes to recover. We stood up and decided to go get food.

We went up to one of the food stalls and ordered food. Once we got our food we sat down at a picnic table.

"This is fun so far!" I said.

"Yeah,"

"So,what ride do you wanna go on?"

"How about the haunted house?"

"The haunted house?"

"That's what I said."

"S-sure,we can go on that later," I really don't like haunted houses. I don't like them because a lot of reasons but the reason I dislike them the most is once I got chanced by one of the actor people in it. Don't get me wrong, I love scary things but...I was like 4 and that moment was terrifying.

We finished our food and threw it away. We walked to this cool dome looking thing. I watched as people came out looking terrified,and these people look like 40 year old adults. I overheard one of them say something. She said"That was scary,it seems so real. I can't believe that Katy got to be the killer. It was such a hassle getting the generators up.". 

It sounded like she was describing dead by daylight. Was this a live version of dbd? That sounds super fun! I was getting bored while waiting so I looked around. I noticed that everyone went in groups. Guess we'll have to join random people. I saw a group of people up front. Wait that's Ashlie,Jon,nick,Tommy,and Uni!

 They seemed to notice us and waved for us to come over. I looked at nick and pulled his arm. He looked at me and I pointed at them. They were still waving for us to come up. He nodded and we walked over to them.

"Hey guys!" Jon said.

"Hi Jon," I said.

"What're you doing here?" Nick SGC asked.

"We're doing stuff,obviously," Tommy said.

"What even is this?" I asked.

"It's a real version of dead by daylight." Ashlie said.

"Who's being the killer?" I asked.

"Me!" Uni yelled. I nodded and smiled. We talked as we waited. Soon we entered the dome. Inside the dome was several walled off places with gates and a few rooms. and there were costumes on racks. We each chose our costumes then we got dressed in them. After we finished dressing we walked out of our changing rooms and listened to the rules.

"Okay! So I'm first gong to tell you how to play! So to get the generators up you have to do a puzzle on the generator screen. It will have a random thing you have to do in order to get it up.-"  she continued talking about how the game worked. When she was finally done we walked into the walled off area. We were each separated. I snuck around the area I was in and saw a generator. I walked up to it and began to work. The puzzle was very easy so I finished fast. We needed so many generators though. 

We already finished one so when I finish mine we'll have two finished. I think nick and Ashlie got to other generator. After I finished my generator I heard a screech. It sounded like tommy. He's going to die first. The watch on my wrist that we were given showed that tommy was hit. 

"Let me go!" Tommy yelled. Uni had him over his shoulder. Guess he found him in a closet. Tommy was placed on a "hook" near my generator. Uni was camping him. Dang it! Is he really that important? I guess. I mean he's a great distraction for Uni so he's important. We only started the game a few minutes ago. I snuck behind a tree and saw Nick.

"Sup nick," I whispered.

"We need to help tommy,Cory," nick whispered back.

"Why? So you can kiss him? I bet you were having a make out session before Uni came over." I taunted still whispering. I could see that nick was blushing. I laughed quietly.

"That's not why!" He whispered angrily.

"I know,sorry," I said.

"You should be." He said. Then tommy screamed. We peeked out from behind the tree and saw that the spider leg things were going to get tommy. Uni turned around and nick ran to Tommy. He quickly got tommy off and carried him away. I snuck away without being noticed and went to work on another generator. 

-20 minutes later-

Ashlie was being chased by Uni. I was working on a generator with Nick and Nick Sgc,and Tommy was there looking around. Jon was probably off doing another generator, Hopefully he was. We only need to finish this one and another one. Once we finished a few seconds later another generator was on. The exits lit up and we ran towards one. After we got there Nick opened the one we were at. But then we realized we lost Tommy. Ashlie and Jon came to our exit.

"Where's tom?" Jon asked.

"We lost him," I said. Then Uni came out of nowhere and chased us out. Once we got out they led us up above the walled off place. The roof was clear so we could see in. We saw Tommy trolling Uni. He then got hit. He then ran towards the exit. Tommy was so close to being hit but he escaped.

"Dang it!" We could hear Uni yell. I laughed a little. After we walked out we split our groups and Nick and I went yo do other stuff. Turns out the haunted house was closed. We went on a few more rides then decided to go on the Ferris wheel. It was already sun set. We admired the sun set.

"Isn't it pretty?" Nick asked.

"Very," I said. I grabbed nick's hand and he looked at me. I smiled and kissed him. We broke out kiss and got off the Ferris wheel. We walked holding each other's hand for a while more until it was dark out. We walked back to my hut and said goodbye. Nick walked away towards his hut. I went inside my hut and saw Uni sleeping on his bed. I smiled and walked over. I knelt down and kissed his forehead. I went to leave but he hugged me and pulled me down and laid me beside him  and he snuggled me. I sighed and went to sleep.
