"I missed you " she pulled me in a hug while her voice lingered in my ears . Why is she here ? Why now ? Not now ! I really didn't know how to respond or how to feel at this moment . "Well are you going to let me or just stand there ?" my mother asked while snapping me out of my thoughts .

"Uh.. oh yeah come in  " I said while stepping aside to let her inside .

Zoey
"Are we going to see my daddy now ?" Omar's little girl asked for the hundredth time today . I look into my review mirror to see the little girl now crying. I pull a snickers out of my purse and hand it to her . "We are going to see him now but you have to make me a promise "

She took a small bite of her candy while nodding her head."You have to stay next to me when we see daddy until I tell you to go with him " . The little girl took a minute to respond but when she did it hurt me to my heart. "Why did you take me from my papa ? Did he make you mad because he makes a lot of people mad ,or did you take me because you were lonely ? "

I never thought that in a million years I wouldve taken someones daughter . That's not me ..this isn't me . This whole thing is starting to get out of hand . "Well lets go ahead and go in but don't forget what I said ." I walked to the front door with the little girl close behind. Once Omar saw his daughter he attempted to reach for her but I shook my had no . "'Where is Jane and Marcus ?"

Omar kissed his teeth and handed me a piece of paper with an address on it. "Marcus is living between families right now but that won't be for long . " I let the little girls hand go and she jumped into her fathers arms .

  Dakota
Serena came over to my place to kick it but it wasn't easy getting her over here. Like I had to order pizza hut for her to come over to tutor me with work I didn't need help on . I just like being in her presence I guess ...

"Are you listening ?" Serena asked

"Yeah I am " Serena shook her and mumbled something under her breath . "No speak up smart ass " I playfully pushed her .She pushed me back then said "Your wasting my time because I know you know this material . So why am I here ?"

I shrugg my shoulders then lick my lips" Ion kno I like yo company " . Serena gave a soft smile as she started to put her stuff back into her bookbag . "Dakota if you wanted to hang all you had to do was ask me and stop licking your lips . I already told you I'm not interested in you or masculine females ." She stood up and started to leave but turned around for a slice a pizza . Like I thought she was turning around for me but nah she straight up played me like I'm a lame .

"Walk with me lil baby " she smiled

The minute we got downstairs my mom shot me a death stare . "See you later and call me later lil baby " Serena gave me a hug then a quick kiss on my cheek . "Waiitt hold on you not into masculine females remember ? " I stood wide eyed . She giggled and waved as she left .

"So we back on this shit ? " My mom asked snatching me out of my high . "You bet not been having sex in my house ." I laughed "Mom chill for real "

*Later That Evening*

"Mom somebody at the door " I yelled from the top of the stairs . She let out a loud sign then went to open the door . I went back into the room but as soon as I closed the door I heard arguing.

Being the nosy person Iam I put my ear to my door to hear what the conversation was about.

"Speak up damn "I thought to myself

I ran down the steps , then tiptoed past them like I should be a spy . Or at least I thought because once the door closed my mom laughed . Then said " Kota baby you not slick"

"I was just uhmm.... I was uhhh " I tried to come up with a lie of some sort but I couldn't think of anything. So I told the truth " I tried to hear your conversation. But are you ok because I heard arguing ."

She took a deep breath as she ran her hands over her face . "No that was Marcus wife " . My jaw drop instantly did she just say wife ? "What are you going to do ?"

"I don't know baby but first thing first I'm getting rid of his shit " she shook her head and walked off. I'm assuming to throw his stuff out .

Zoey
I pulled into the driveway of the address Omar gave me . It was a nice house , but I'm not surprised that Jane lives here . She always seems to have a nice place even if that means hurting people in the process to get it . I grab my gun underneath my seat and take the safety off . After checking to make sure that all of the bullets are in I put the gun in my back pocket.

I began to check around the house for any suspicious activity . After that I went into the house through the back door . Just as suspected nothing was there not even furniture .

I continued to walk throughout the house and looking over my shoulder I notice there were two suitcases . So she hopping around from house to house . As expected....

Searching through the first suitcase it was a couple shirts and shorts . The second suitcase had a couple items of clothing,but there was sundress that my mother had on when we had lunch . "Why is your dress in here ?" I ask myself out loud

I push the suitcase over and a gun slid down onto the pile of clothes with a wallet. Perfect I check the wallet for ID and their was her ID. "Ain't this bout a bitch"
