HEY GUYS!!! It's Katelin here for some Malec and Clace one shots! I am gonna update as much as possible but we just started school last week! So sorry if I don't post everyday, just be patient with me! This will also be used to enter a contest for @MalecLovely because I thought this was adorable and would be good for the contest!

I never intended on falling in love. Especially with a glitter obsessed Warlock. A downworlder. A male. Never did I think I would ever fall for anyone.
I was taught family is everything. Family comes before happiness. "Alec, you have to marry." I was told over and over again. "I will find you an amazing Shadowhunter to help fulfill the Lightwood name." I was told.
Izzy, Jace, Simon, and Clary all had it good. Izzy was never told she had to marry, so she fell in love with the charming vampire Simon Lewis. Jace and Clary instantly fell for each other the night of the circle found her mother. That leaves me. The one with the secret. The one who will be metaphorically killed if I craved love.
But I fell. I fell hard. It took a while... and a wedding to figure that out. I fell for a downworlder. A warlock. A male. That doesn't mind me at all. It very much bothers my mother. Maryse Lightwood.
"I know you feel what I feel Alec." Is what Magnus said. I wanted pull him into a kiss so badly, but I was confused. Confused whether I did feel it or not. "You don't know what I feel" is all I could say.
All I know is that I felt something. Something like... lust, want, love. I wanted to tell him. I turned around and he was gone. He just disappeared. I went home and thought for hours that night. Just thinking.

Time skip to his wedding.
"A rune on the hand. A rune on the heart a union is born." Brother Jeremiah said touching the staff to the crystal. Lydia touched the stele to crystal with a soft smile pointed in my direction. Right before she touched the stele to my arm Magnus came pouring in.
The whole world seemed to stop as he burst through the doors. I couldn't breath. I had to do something about this. I didn't know what though. I had to end this. End us. Me and the caring girl in front of me.
I talked to Lydia and she was fine with not marrying. I could tell she was upset but I couldn't live my life as a lie. I had to do what I felt was right, and being depressed my whole life, living the lie that I was already living, acting like I liked Lydia, I felt it had to all be left behind. I turned facing the people who attending my small wedding staring at Magnus. I had to make my decision and quick.
I walked down the isle quick and with a purpose. "Alec, what are you doi-" Maryse said but I caught her before she finished.
"Enough." I said in a demanding tone.
I get to the Warlock and grab him by the lapels and pull him into a passionate kiss. He is frozen for a second but then begin to kiss back. We kiss for a few seconds and I pull away. I couldn't take not feeling his lips on mine so I go in for another kiss. This time passion levels were equal so it was way better. I pull away and look down and then look into his eyes.
"You never seize to amaze me, Alec" Magnus said smiling.
"What did I just do?" I say confused but also very proud of myself. Then I realize what could happen and I looked at my parents. Disgusted. Disappointed. Angry. I could tell by the look of her face. She walked away letting out a scoff then soon my dad followed.

Time skip to present day.
"Magnus! Dinner is almost ready!" I call out to him.
"Alright give me a few minutes gotta fix Chairman Meows cage. He broke it yesterday trying to kill that son of a bitch mouse!"
"Ok. How does pizza sound?" I say guilty.
"What did u do?"
"The water spilled over and I don't know how to fix it!"
"How about we just go straight to dessert?" Magnus said with a wink
"We can't have dessert before dinner silly!" Alec said clearly not knowing what Magnus meant.
"Your innocence is adorable. I didn't mean actual dessert." Magnus said winking trying to make Alec understand.
"Um... oh..." Alec said then blushed but leaned closer to Magnus. Their lips touched and it was like fireworks went off
The two spent the whole night together totally forgetting that they were starving before they had dessert.
