I open my eyes. Ever since the near suicide, I've had nightmares. The images would haunt me. Tonight was no exception. I swung my feet over my bed and slipped on shoes.
The woods, while dark and foreboding at night to some, was a haven for me. Something about the stillness and peace of the place calls me.
I walk until the sun is beginning to come over the horizon. I'm near the cliff and start to walk over to it when a sound makes me freeze. The noise was someone crying.
I walk closer to the unknown person trying to discern who it might be. Once I get close enough, I freeze once more. The girl had light brown hair that stopped just past her shoulders, pale eyes that appear almost silver, and a mouth that I've only seen smile until this moment. It was Kate.
