No way in hell am I wearing that. Why would Kevin even suggest it? He's an idiot!

I look down at the shirt my brother got me to wear. It's a simple black boys tee, but the design is a dark owl with the words 'don't worry about the Twilight Drive In, it's only a fad.' I mean we're all upset over the closing of the drive in, but saying this is a put off and everyone will be upset.

Instead of being hated I choose a black shirt with a black wolf on it with glowing green eyes with a scarlet tint to them, a dark purple plaid shirt, a pair of ripped black jeans, my worn out black high tops, and Jughead's beanie. All set. Except for make up.

Make up is something I do because it reminds me of art. Both things you have to use color patterned for and have talent. It's not something you can just do. It's something you have to feel. Sappy and crappy I know.

My make up is very simple and covering. First I use powder to make all the acne fad, then I put on a cover stick to fully eliminate them along with any red marks, then I smile and apply my simple ton blush, I find that if you smile when you put on blush it goes on better, then I put on a skin tone eye shadow, then I put on fierce lash mascara, and finally a simple pink lipstick, which I apple with my finger since it gives it a stain look which is better then a full on bold move.

Once I'm all set I head down stairs to meet Kevin and Veronica. Cheryl never reached out so I don't know if she's coming or not. Maybe she'll meet us there, who knows?

"Ok I'm all set. You guys ready to hop?" I ask.

"Almost," Veronica answers. "Your brother is just putting a big red plaid blanket in the trunk of his pick up for us to use."

"Cool." I nod and grab my phone from the charger in the kitchen.

When I get back to the porch Kevin and Veronica are already in the car. I hop in the bed of the truck and snuggle up with the blanket. Usually doing this is against the law, but since my dad's the sheriff I have special permission.

The drive to the drive in was slow and boring. The roads were dreary and alone. Everyone was either already at the drive in or they just didn't want to go outside with a murderer on the loose. When we got there we picked out the only parking spot left. Sadly it's the one place I don't want to sit at all. By the South Side Serpents.

They hang out towards the back of the drive in and since we came late we have to sit by them. They're loud and rude and have been talking for the past half hour.

As the movie begins with the opening credits the Serpents still don't stop ruining the experience. I sigh and pay attention to the screen.

After the first half hour goes by I start getting really annoyed with the Serpents. They still haven't stopped talking and screaming. This whole night is going down hill and there's nothing to save it.

A pair of high heel boots can be heard close to us and I tear my eyes off of the screen to see Cheryl with a stern face in front of the truck bed.

"Make some room outcasts." She commands.

I have to admit, I'm really glad she came. I move over to the left and Kevin and Veronica move over to the right making room for her in between Veronica and I. Cheryl squeezes in and covers us back up with the blanket. I hand her a bag of cherry licorice and take a sip of my water.

More loud screams come from behind us and I groan out aloud.

"They've been doing that since the opening credits." Veronica informs Cheryl.

My brother turns to face the Serpents.

"Shhhh!" He hushed them.

Groans and hisses come from the Serpents. My brother stays looking at them for a couple for seconds before recoiling quickly back to us.
