Pressing the accelerator,

The car moved forward-on and on,

Just driving

Passed the road signs

Exceeding the speed limits

No speedbumps for me

Just driving

Prayers made by pedestrians

Came as I picked a grey road at the fork

But there was no stopping now

Just driving

Picking a new gear, I shifted

Too late for there was a cliff

Stopping was beyond me

Just kept on driving

Pushed off the cliff I wished that

Someone had cared

To tell me that

There were breaks...
