Just Driving:
Pressing the accelerator,
The car moved forward-on and on,
Not stopping at crossroads
Just driving
Passing the trees which blurred
Into a mist of green and brown
It turned to smog but there was no stopping
Just driving
Passed the road signs
Exceeding the speed limits
No speedbumps for me
Just driving
Prayers made by pedestrians
Came as I picked a grey road at the fork
But there was no stopping now
Just driving
Picking a new gear, I shifted
Too late for there was a cliff
Stopping was beyond me
Just kept on driving
Pushed off the cliff I wished that
Someone had cared
To tell me that
There were breaks...
