Marley felt groggy as she was lifted by Peter and Sylvie onto the stretcher and into the ambulance. She assumed they'd given her some fairly strong pain killers and that mixed with shock had sent her into a semi delusional state. Kelly still had his hand holding hers tightly, and despite her state, she couldn't help but think back to when Nadia had held hers, and she found herself re-living her assaults. She quickly withdrew her hand from his, and watched as a look of sadness replaced the one of concern on Kelly's face.
"I'm sorry." She mumbled, fighting against Peter as he tried to put an oxygen mask on her face. Her eyes widened in fear as he tried to put it over her mouth, her mind flashing back to the gag.
"No! No, stop." She almost screamed, pushing Peter's gentle hands away from her face. He immediately pulled it away, concern growing as her heart began to race.

It was decided that she would be sedated, only whilst they stabilised her as she was not cooperating. She was clearly having flashbacks all the time, and it was dangerous for herself. Thankfully, she didn't fight him when he inserted the needle into her arm. Kelly slumped down in the chair as he watched Peter work on Marley silently. She didn't have many obvious injuries- the worst that Peter could identify from first glance were some cuts on her wrists- presumably from where she had been restrained, and her neck had severe bruising. They both knew the majority of her issues from this ordeal would be psychological, and it infuriated them both that they knew there was no immediate cure or relief from the pain she would be in.

They arrived at Chicago Med fairly quickly. Sylvie had been driving as fast as the ambulance would take her, wanting for the young girl in the back to be able to be helped as quickly as possible. They were immediately met by Conor, Will and April, along with some other nurses. Peter and Sylvie handed Marley over to them. Jay, Antonio, Alvin, Adam and Kevin all met them there. Marley was beginning to come around as she saw everyone. Kelly approached her side slowly, watching as tears welled up in her eyes.
"Did you find Nadia?" She asked the detectives, choking on a sob.
"We found her." Antonio said softly, looking down at her sadly.
"She was dead, wasn't she?" Another sob escaped her lips. Antonio didn't respond. He couldn't bring himself to hurt the teenager even more.
"Let's focus on getting you better, yeah babe?" Kelly said softly, kissing her on the forehead. She couldn't help but flinch.
"I appreciate you being here, but I need to be alone. Please?" She asked everyone. Almost reluctantly everybody left the room she was in, leaving Marley to her thoughts.

But the thoughts she was having were anything but pleasant. She blamed herself for Nadia's death. She blamed herself for everything. And just like that, she felt herself slipping back into a frame of mind that had almost killed her- and she didn't have the energy to fight it.
