*Beep Beep Beep* I wake up to my alarm sounding off. I lazily reach my hand up and hit the snooze button. Mornings are not for me! I roll back over and am asleep right away. I snooze about 5 more times before finally deciding to just get out of bed. I hop out from under my covers and go downstairs to see if anyone else is up. I go downstairs to find that I'm the only one up. I love being the first one awake because it means I get the house to myself for awhile.. well kind of. I whip up a bowl of cereal and munch away. When I'm done eating I go upstairs and shower. When I'm done showering I get ready for the day and slowly pack. I can hear the rest of my family is up at this point. "We're going to miss our flight if you don't hurry up!" I can hear my mother yelling to me. I roll my eyes and shut my suitcase. I walk downstairs, preparing for this miserable flight. I wish we were back for more than a day. I don't even feel like going with to be completely honest. I sigh as I reach the end of the stairs and walk outside to see my grandparents and mother I the car, all waiting for me. I hop in and we speed off to the airport. I don't understand why everyone's acting like we're in a rush when the flight doesn't leave for an hour and a half.
When we get to the airport, we say our goodbyes to my grandparents and go through security and baggage. After finally getting on the airplane, I'm exhausted. Bigger airports always tire me out. I'm out before I know it. I wake up mid flight and everyone on the plane is asleep. I crawl over my mom and go to the restroom and ask the flight attendant for a water. I drink my water and eventually fall back asleep.
When I wake up the second time, were in Sydney. We hop off the plane and go through baggage claim. When we're ready, my moms boyfriend comes to pick us up. We get in his car and my mom starts to act completely different. I try to ignore them and just look out my window. It's so pretty here. I wish we didn't have to spend all of our time with Steven so we could explore this beautiful city. I have visited Australia so often and hardly ever explored it.
I start to day dream and before I know it we are at Stevens house. I get out of the car and go into his house and up to my temporary room. I have a beautiful view from my window. I can see the beach! I decide that is what I would rather be doing than sitting in this stupid room all day. I change into my swimsuit and grab a few beach necessities and walk downstairs. I walk in on gross Steven and my mom kissing in the kitchen. I honestly am surprised I didn't vomit at the sight. I announce I am going on a walk and leave before they can ask questions. I get to the beach and I begin to sun tan. For once, I'm not actually that mad about being in Sydney. Maybe this isn't so bad after all.
