Teenage Love

Chapter 12: College

Authors note: this is going to be one huge chapter of all of Katie's 4 years in college.

Theo wakes me in the morning for my first class of the day, an exercise science class that I have to take for graduation. I get up, & put on jeans, a black ruffle top, & a brown leather jacket. I curl my hair with a wand that I bought a few weeks ago & spray a little hair spray. Since I've met Theo, my features have softened a little bit making me look a little prettier to me, & to Theo a Goddess. I add just a little eyeshadow to make my outfit stand out & a pinch of foundation to a zit that's trying to come through. 

I walk out of the bathroom & Theo's standing on the opposite side of the bed looking out the window of our bedroom. Our bedroom consits of a queen size bed, a nightstand on both our sides with a lamp. Our sheets are dark red, a color Theo picked out because he said he really liked it. Theo sees me & turns around. His mouth is shaped like an O. 

"Close your mouth or you're going to catch flies," I tease. He keeps staring though. 

"You look wow," he says. "You look beautiful." 

I smile & he kisses me softly, our tongues barely touching. "Save the rest for later," I say kissing his neck a little. We hang out for a little while before he has to drive me to school since I'm not a junior yet & park at school. 

When we get to school, he tells me to have a great first day & we kiss again. "I'm going to go to the government building & get the papers for our new drivers licences & stuff like that & he'd said he'd look for a job while he was driving around. 

I walk into the classroom & I see nobody that I recognize except the girl from the book club booth from yesterday. She sees me & runs over to me, "I'm so glad that I found someone I recognize. I'm Shailenne Woodley by the way." She extends her hand & I firmly shake it. "I was so scared I'd be alone in this class, & I know we don't know each other but I figured we could get to know each other." 

"Yeah, that's great," I say. I realized that this girl would probably talk your head off. I liked her though, she was nice. When the professor walked in, Shailenne & I took a seat next to each other. The profesor went over the sylabus & every now & then Shai would lean in & say something about his hair or something he said. I could already tell we'd be best friends even though she wouldn't shut up sometimes. 

After class, Shai & I made plans to meet for lunch since our next classes we didn't have them together. My next class was Philosphy & I liked my profesor. He was a middle aged man that made awesome puns & said funny things. 

Lunch came around & we met at Chiptole. I ordered a beef bowl with tomatoes, salsa & other stuff. I don't know what Shai ordered, but it looked really good. We sat at a small table in the corner & made small talk. 

"So what are you thinking about majoring in?" she asks & takes a bite of her food. 

"English," I say. "Or History or Spanish. I like all three & it's hard to choose. What about you?" 

"Herbology & Enviromental Science," She says matter of factly. I just nod. "I'm one of those people who eat all natural stuff & I'm an extremely green person. It pisses me off if I see a recycle bin & a trash can next to each other & a water bottle in the trash can." 

"That's cool," I say nodding even though I think it's weird. I'd probably get mad too if it was like a ton but just one isn't enough to get my panties in a wad. We talk for a while longer about random stuff. After we finish, we leave & we exchange numbers as I go to meet Theo. He's idling by the curb & smiling. I get in & kiss him hard, "let's go back to the apartment." He nods & on our way home he tells me that he got a job at that book store where my book club's at. 

We rush into the apartment & we're frantic to get our clothes off, but we take our time making love. He goes slow , making it passionate. He holds me afterwards, drawing pictures on my back of random things & telling me how much he loves me. We've only been in North Carolina for 2 days & it's already been the best two days of my life.

Over the next year, Shai & I become best friends, & we do things together that Theo won't do because it's too girly. She's dating a boy named Ansel, & he's Theo's best friend too. Today we're all hanging out at Theo & I's apartment to watch a movie. Theo & I aren't watching it though, we're spooning on the couch talking about other things. 

"Do you want to have kids someday?" Theo asks tickling my ear with his scruff on his chin. 

"Yeah," I say looking at him. "I do." 

He smiles, "I'd like to have kids too." 

"We have to get married first," I tease. 

"Okay," he says & kisses me. He moves so he's on top of me playing with the hem of my shirt. 

"People gettin' in broad daylight," Shai says. I flip her off, & go back to kissing Theo. I take his shirt off & throw it on the floor. He stands up & picks me up & carries me to the bedroom. He sits on the bed with me sitting on his lap. He pulls my shirt over my head & tosses it on the bed. He kisses my collarbone & I giggle like crazy, "we're a hot mess," I say. He kisses me again, & we have a heated kissing session that doesn't go any further since we have people in the other room. Life couldn't get any better. 

Author's note: I'm actually making this into 2 chapters cause this one is really long. So, yeah.
