Prologue

Hi, thanks for giving my book a chance. If you've read this book before it would be a good idea to reread it because I've done some major changes to the plot and characters.

This book belongs to me and i don't like people who are unoriginal and try to steal someone else's book. If you want a story make one yourself. I also want to say that I don't own the rights to any of these pictures and all the credit goes to the ones who took them.

Prologue (16 years ago)-

It was a dark and foggy night on the streets of Edinburgh. All was quiet and not a human was in sight to see the man melt out of the shadows of the alleyway. He stood at the mouth of the alley impatiently waiting for the one who called him there. " Thank you for listening to my summons for once darling."

The man didn't even twitch in surprise at the women who'd appeared next to him. "Yur wasting my valuable time tell me what ya want, so I can get back ta feedin." She pursed her lips, " Eager ta know yur demise dove." A huff of impatience came from the cloaked man.

"Just get it over with." The women turned to face him. "I have a prophecy for ya,"

Amber eyes holders of truths that will soon be told

Lips that you will gladly let be your demise

She will hide in such a beautiful disguise

She will be the darkness in the light

The light in the darkness

She who holds the keys to the world

She backed away into the shadows until she could hardly be seen. The man laughed " I don't believe n prophecies, you should know that by now."

The witch smirked, "Maybe you should because you and I both know that I'm never wrong, bring her ta me. You'll know when the time is right." She turned turned to walk further into the shadows but not before saying one last thing, " Try not ta kill her, I know about yur... taste for certin girls." He smirked, " Are you sayin she's my type?"

"No I'm saying she's too good fur ya". Her smile held secrets that she wished to tell, but now was not the time. She just hoped that those secrets didn't mess up the things that were set in motion thousands of years before. She turned and walked away allowing the shadows to consume her completely.
