RISA'S POV

The bright light flashed once again. I had gotten used to it and I didn't even blink as the smile that seemed permanently glued onto my face never wavered.

My hand was tired from gripping the perfume bottle for so long. "Change your expression now," the photographer told me. I shifted from the square box that I was sitting on. My silk dress covered it completely.

I held the bottle next to my face this time and made another face. "Perfect. That should be a wrap, for now, Risa. It's different working with a professional."

I smile and bow slightly as I set down the perfume. I was a little cold because the air conditioner was on and I was wearing a strapless.

"Ugh, I don't know how many times I've sprayed that perfume. It's half empty now," I comment to my manager as I tie my hair up into a ponytail.

"It doesn't even smell good," I say under my breath.

My manager was one of my best friends since I was little. Aoi was the one who got me cast into my agency and to where I am today. She never seems to mind that I get all the attention and says that she never wants to get famous. Having a famous friend is enough.

Aoi laughs. "Yeah," she leans in. "And that's probably why they're paying big bucks for Akamine Risa to model for them."

I laugh as well and slip out of the dress I'm wearing. Who knows how expensive that dress is, but it was super uncomfortable. The colour was vibrant though, and absolutely beautiful against my light tan skin.

I'm naturally tan and that makes people interested in me, I guess. I stand out compared to the pale models and celebrities.

I shrug on the bomber jacket that was given to me as a gift from one of my favourite fashion lines to complete the outfit I had worn here. "So are we okay to go?" I ask Aoi, who's on her phone.

She nods. "Yep, all set. And love your outfit." I glance down. Being a model, I always had to dress like it was my next runway walk.

"Thanks. Yours is... okay." We both laugh at my comment since Aoi never cared about fashion. Right now, she's wearing a grey hoodie and leggings, same as her style back in high school. Some things never change.

I slip my small backpack onto my shoulders and unplug my charging phone.

"Risa." I turn around to see the photographer. "It was great working with you," he says. I bow. "Thank you. I had a great time as well."

I shook hands with him and he told me he wanted to work with me again, which I replied to with an agreement. I had to be polite and it was an okay shoot.

Aoi led me to the car that I use to get around and we're driven to the company. Aoi's busy on her phone so I don't converse with her and instead scroll through my feed.

It's showered with compliments and occasional hate. I still couldn't believe that I had gotten so famous. At first, I was just a model for fun in high school, but then one photo shoot blew up and I was featured on a big scale magazine and my career took off from there.

Then I got an offer for a supporting role in a movie and apparently, I was a natural actress. The film made it big in Korea so I'm starting to get known there as well.

To be honest, I kind of want to be an idol, but that won't be happening as I can't sing for life, and my long limbs make it hard to dance well.

We made it to the company and I get off, linking arms with Aoi.

"Hey Risa," Aoi pipes up suddenly once we're in her office. It was technically our office as half of the place was basically a sofa that I had claimed as my home. "You've never been in a relationship before, right?"

"No..." I answer cautiously. "So how would you feel if you got... I don't know, married?"

My head shoots up from my phone. "What?" I ask. "Married. There's an offer for you to go on Global We Got Married. You'll be paired up with some Korean celebrity, I think and you'll pretend to have a virtual marriage. You'll get a lot of attention and besides, those people are hot."

I laugh at her last part. I've never heard of the show before, but that's probably because I'm too busy with my modelling and the wrap-up of that drama I had starred in.

"Sure, sign me up," I say. I think it'd be fun to be in a fake marriage. I don't think I'll be dating anytime soon so this might be a fun break. And who knows, maybe I'll find my soulmate there.

YOONGI'S POV

I blinked. "What?" My voice raised slightly. I'm not sure if it was because of anger or shock. Our manager sighs. I guess he anticipated my reaction. "You have to participate on We Got Married."

"But why?" I ask even though I know the reason. Our manager slides a tablet across the table so I can see it. Of course. An article.

BTS'S SUGA AND WREATH'S RISE DATING?

"There are other ways to handle a scandal. How is putting me on a show to get virtually married a good way?" I ask.

"It's the best and quickest way. With all these rumours surfacing about you and Rise dating, putting you on We Got Married means that you guys aren't dating since you'll be getting 'married,'" my manager explains.

"But the thing is we are," I shoot back. Who knew we would get caught so soon. It had only been two weeks since I asked her out after much contemplation.

"But the public doesn't know that and we don't want them to. So you're going on We Got Married. We discussed it with SM already and agreed. Please, Yoongi. It's for the best. And after WGM and the scandal passes, you guys are free and we won't bother you two anymore."

I knew I had lost. They talked to SM and being such a big and powerful company, I have to do as they say.

"Yeah," I mutter. "We won't be bothered if our relationship survives through this show."
