nasa backstage na kaming apat. after the principal's opening remarks, susunod kami. andito rin si denise since isa siya sa mga nag-organize ng event. we had our last rehearsal earlier but i still have lots of worries.
tinawag na ng emcees ang principal to deliver his opening remarks and that means, we'll go next. mas kinakabahan na tuloy ako.
"okay ka lang?" si donghyun.
"ha? oo." kahit hindi talaga.
"my mind's telling me you're not." he said, crossing his arms. ba't ganon? ba't alam niya? huhu.
i frowned, "kinakabahan nga kasi ako."
i rarely perform on stage. the last time i did, i was still probably in middle school. and it gave me the stage fright i wasn't supposed to have before that performance. kaya ngayon, natatakot akong baka magkamali na naman ako. ayokong mapahiya, especially na andito si donghyun.
"your hands are shaking." sabi niya habang nakatingin sa kamay kong nanginginig nga.
the next thing he did made me dumbfounded. he suddenly held both of my hands. "i thought it would stop them from shaking."
hindi na nanginginig kamay ko, puso ko na.
