Forgiveness signifies that you are OK with what somebody has done and you're happy to let it go. However do we truly forgive people? In an arguement how often have you said something like "you did this at such and such time" as a defence? I know I have. In this case we haven't truly forgiven our perpetraters. For this reason I find this particular chapter difficult :(

Hmm this is difficult, to be honest I don't know who I want forgiveness from....actually I do...

Dear Lord

I hope that you will forgive me when I drift away from you, when I do things that I'm not supposed to. I hope you will forgive the fact that I don't always glorify your name or sing your praises. I will try to do that more and Lord I know that you are forgiving. Whilst I hope you forgive me I also hope you forgive those who have wronged you and help me to forgive those who I feel have wronged me. The bible says forgive your brother 70 x 7 times so I hope that you help me to do that Lord. Sometimes it's hard to forgive and forget, we say we've forgiven but if we haven't forgotten then it hasn't really been forgiven. Lord can you help me to forgive in the way that you do to your people?

Finally Lord can you please forgive me for not talking to you as much as I should

The end

Let's all try to be more forgiving to people. It's hard but that doesn't mean it's not achievable :)
