This is simply my point on what I feel Miko goes through. Why she does what she does. This is only to help people understand her, and not pretend to be something they aren't.

Hope you like it.

The room was filled with conversation and endless chatter. The nicely dressed people were talking to each other about different things. Politics, business, and the latest fashions. A little girl was sitting on a chair in the hall as she swung her feet back and forth. She looked around and sighed forcefully. She was so bored. The crowd laughed quietly as they spoke with each other. The small girl got down and walked over to one woman.

"Mommy?" She said as she tugged on her skirt. "Mommy I'm hungry." She said and her mother furrowed her brow.

"Don't bother mommy when she's busy Miko." She said seriously and waved her off. The small girl nodded slowly and stepped back as she hung her head.

Can you see me over here?
Should I just disappear?

Miko wanted her parents to spend time with her. Maybe if she was more like her mother or their friends. The five year old ran off after watching a few of them. She went to her mother's room and put on big girl shoes. She then put on some of her mother's jewelry. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled brightly.

"Pretty." She said then went back down, with some difficulty. She tugged on her mother's skirt and they looked at her.

"I'm just like you!" She said as she smiled brightly. Some of the grown-ups said 'aw' or made other cute noises. She smiled more knowing she got approval. Her mother forced a smile and led her back to the other room.

"Miko, mommy is busy and doesn't have time for this." She scolded. "Now go put my things away right now." She said seriously before walking out. The small girls smile faded and she hung her head in shame.

I tried to fit in next to you
Guess I wasn't clear
Or maybe I'm just not good enough....

Miko sat on the bench of the private school as she stared at her hands. She was ten now and was trying to be what her parents wanted. She fixed her skirt then her tight bun as she thought. Her hands dropped into her lap as she fought back tears. She wasn't happy.

Feel so alone here
Can't even be myself
Tryna fit in
Left all I am on the shelf
Do I belong here,
Or should I just stop trying
To be some other girl?

After she got home she stared at her reflection as she thought. She didn't like pretending to be someone else. She wanted to be herself and not what her parents forced her to be. The perfect daughter that never had an opinion, or only spoke when spoken to. She hung her head in shame and squeezed her eyes shut.

"I'm... irreplaceable..." she whispered quietly as tears fell down her face. She didn't know what to do to please them.

When I find I'm all alone
Gotta tell myself
I'm irreplaceable...

She looked at herself again and narrowed her eyes. She walked to her bed and flopped on it. Grabbing her IPod she went to the music she liked to listen to. Her parents only wanted her to listen to Opera or classical music. She didn't mind it at all and loved it, but she had discovered other songs and liked them. She smiled slightly and closed her eyes as she listened to the band Imagine Dragons. For this moment she could be herself.

Bend it back
Quit tryna be someone else
I tell myself
I'm irreplaceable...

As the years passed her parents became frustrated with her. She wasn't becoming what they wanted her to be. She was sent to America to live with some friends of her parents. They were to make her become a proper young lady. More of what her parents wanted.

Once there, she felt like it was a new start. She smiled brightly as she went to school. She was excited because she knew English and could speak it very well. But no one saw her. She tried to make friends and fit in with the popular crowd. Pretending to be someone else.

Somehow I find a way
It's never easy
Why is it so hard?
All I've ever wanted
Is to be like them
I don't understand
Why I am who I am...

A month went by and she stared blankly at her reflection. She was in her room and thinking about things. She stared at her clothes that were in fashion and hair that was like the others. She narrowed her eyes realizing she was hiding herself again. She clenched her fists tightly and ran out of the house. She wasn't hiding who she was anymore.

When I find I'm all alone
Gotta tell myself
I'm irreplaceable

Miko went to the store and bought a guitar. She got the music she liked and the clothes she wanted. She smiled brightly feeling better already. She stopped suddenly at a hair salon and thought for a few minutes.

Bend it back
Quit tryna be someone else
Still myself
I'm irreplaceable

The young girl covered her head as more shots were fired. She looked around and grinned happily as she watched the battle rage on. She couldn't believe she was in a battle. Bulkhead told her to look away as he ripped the wires out of a con. Her eyes widened in amazement and her smile grew as she watched. She wanted to be able to help the bots. Somehow become a good fighter and a valuable member of the team. She didn't want to be replaced.

I've got to keep my head up
Be the girl I'm meant to be
I may not be like them but
That's okay, I can only be me!

Miko laughed happily as she sat on Bulkhead's shoulder plate. All the adventures she went on or everything they did together, made her feel happy. She looked over at Jack and smiled more, he was sitting with Raf on the couch. She didn't have popular friends, but she had enough. She looked at the Cybertronians around the room then leaned against the wreckers helm. She smiled more as she closed her eyes. They loved her for who she was.

When I find I'm all alone
Gotta tell myself
I'm irreplaceable
Bend it back
Quit tryna be someone else
I tell myself...

"I'm irreplaceable..." she whispered quietly to herself. She smiled as a tear fell down her face.
